I can’t find the article, but I remember reading about how FCA planned to spend an extra $25-$50 on their interiors starting around 2012, and the difference between before and after is insane. Not to say their interiors offer luxury levels of refinement now, but they were horrendous before.
What, you don’t enter your PIN number into LCD display on the ATM machine?
Are you trying to redefine NEWTon meters of torque?
Not a surprise. Most people are unwilling to even acknowledge that car manufacturers change. Sometime for the better....other times for the worse. Subaru’s ongoing problems with oil consumption and CVT issues are the kinds of things that people don’t want to accept as truth. Nor do they want to accept the truth that…
i work at a vintage focused motorcycle shop. its absolutely amazing how often i see ancient tires on bikes. 30 years old is almost common. then when i explain to people how dangerous that is they always want to argue with me “but there is only a few cracks in them”
Lol okay buddy. My buddys Civic Si from 2015 cant keep up with my E34 530i around bends at higher speeds, but a Fit is totally more exciting.

Super fun until they aren’t any more. 90s mitsubishi levels of maintenence and annoyance to work on. I have a 6S manual V6 from that generation and stuff that should take minutes takes hours and stuff that should take hours ends up being a weekend job. I hate it. I hate it so much. And I’m not the only one; I voiced…
Judging by my comments, about 12.
Wide track keeps you grounded to the ground.
fellow illinoisan and 2006 ll bean forester owner. what year was yours that needed head gaskets? our car has been in the family since new and the service manager told us recently that our engine should not have the head gasket demons.
+1 to this. The second gen Forester is probably one of my favorite Subarus of all time in terms of looks. Wish the new Forester was more similar to it as opposed to leaning more toward the bloated-SUV side of things.
headgaskets lol
As the current owner of a 4th gen I completely agree that pre-facelift 2nd gen is peak Forester but I was over the endless small compromises that come from having a 10+ year old car as a daily.
Nice ride... I spot a Mopar!!
