RockAuto chose my car for one of their magnets. They gave me 50 of them. Seemed like a good spot to display such an honor.

Wow, I knew Tundra resale was good but that is incredible.

A good friend of mine from college just moved onto ~8 acres in Fenton, he was previously on a ~1/4 acre lot also in Fenton. Every time I visit his new place I start to re-think our setup in A2, but overall life is good for the whole family where we are now. I need to upgrade the size of our garage very badly, but at

I’d honestly rather have zero tech in a car (like my 2004 Mazdas) and add my own than deal with crappy tech any day. Something about mounting my phone to the dash for Waze doesn’t bother me at all in a 15 year old minivan, but when I do it in my wife’s 2016 Outback it annoys me. And oh sweet lawrd baby jeebus how I

Yep, spot-on. My mother-in-law has this car, a 2014 which I believe was the first year for them. Compared to my wife’s 2016 Outback it’s a real joke inside. Hell, I get into my pair of 2004 Mazdas and find them more appealing to sit in.

Nice! About time you actually owned a wagon. Liking it? So when is the wagon turning brown or your name turning green?

My wife got a good kick out of that. She does enjoy Trader Joe’s, but we end up doing most of our shopping at Kroger on Carpenter. She does often say that we need a unique sticker on the back of the car so she can identify it as hers, but in reality having no sticker is the more unique setup.

Well done, as always.

Summer 2019 update-

Summer 2019 update-

My wife often walks up to the wrong red Outback in parking lots and wonders why the door isn’t unlocking when she pulls on it. Easy to do around Ann Arbor. I’m surprised there are only 3 Outbacks in this picture.

But look how happy you made my boy. Totally worth it. We don’t get machines this classy in Ann Arbor too often.

Good to hear. I thought perhaps some of the small differences between 61-62 were causing you to deem it inferior.

Less love for the 62? That’s my favorite, but I’m slightly biased.

As far as I know, the only place around Detroit where sidewalks are considered a driveway for Jeep parking would be David Tracy’s house.

Before my 96 Corolla I had a couple 90's Nissans that had direct linkage shifters. Upon test driving the Corolla I was definitely un-impressed, but it was by no means a performance car. Just a good cheap DD.

Fantastic. I see one of these parked at a house along a route I frequently take, I admire it each time I see it. Such a clean and classy design.

Good to know!

Right. “Not giving a damn” is one of the greatest things I’ve gained with age.
