This is why I can’t give up our 04 MPV. American minivans are far from mini. Euro/JDM size is definitely my preference, sadly that doesn’t exist here anymore.

Yeah, my sarcasm was hard to emphasize. I suggested welding plates to each side, if there’s any steel left that can be welded to. We’ll probably all find out when he attends to this item in February before the trip to Moab in March.

Frame needs a little love in the front on one side. Strangely, this is the only area that is like this.

Ha, it was even better to experience in person. His excitement was hard to contain.

Precisely.

Ha, probably “a gas station island and time.”

Rusty flake David is the only David I know or want to know.

What timely advice, since my daughter’s cat decided to sneak into the garage on Tuesday and find her way into a pan of used transmission fluid I hadn’t put into a bottle yet.

Rusty yes, but so easy to repair!

Hopefully on the outboard (left for LHD) side of the steering wheel, otherwise many designers should be fired.

Wagon life... it’s the right life.

Terrible. Secondary / separate tail light lenses are probably the next popular design atrocity to follow up the “floating roof.” Certainly not a new concept, but it should have died a while ago. Nissan/Infiniti has made this mistake a few times:

Greetings, brown friend. Luckily for me I do have DT about ~45 minutes away, and that distance is enough to keep me from showing up too often and wearing out my welcome, or annoying the wife that I’m over there too much. Although stopping by yesterday with the whole family now gives her a full picture of where I like

Ha. That was the card I used as an example when I first sent him a preview of the set. I knew it would get his interest.

That's cool. I never saw it during my time there from 96-01.

Ha! This is even funnier considering that David’s brother and girlfriend almost didn’t join us for dinner a couple Saturdays ago since they assumed “my friend Jamie” meant David had a lady-friend with him. Nope, just some 40 year old dude he went junkin’ and filmin’ with.

No question, a liftback is far superior to a sedan. Mazda’s lineup for North America in 2004 was simply fantastic.

I currently own this:

Almost makes it sting more when I do see examples that came to America, but only for testing. :(

The boy means business.
