Awwww c'mon. I had Godfather III yesterday. Godfather II would have completed my set.

“What are bozo and boo?”
“What are czar and car?”
“Who is Zeus?”

I wonder who decides the "previously on" montage, because it seemed like they made a point of showing Keri Russell straddling Matthew Rhys and the subsequent intimate eye contact between them. Somebody wanted us to see the contrast!

@JoshuaAlston Martha was prescribed Valium when she had a panic attack after her "date" with Agent Aderholt. That was why she was unresponsive when Clark went to tell her he was leaving for a while.

Spy Marriage 101: Fuck whoever the hell you want, but you sure as shit better not show them your true self.
Just a heartbreaking moment of betrayal, expertly portrayed by Keri Russell with the subtlest of reaction.

Quick shout-out and big thanks to LaToya for another excellent season of coverage. As always, love the manifest investment, insight, and attention to detail in your reviews and hope to see you back next year! Cheers!

Cheese cake.

"So Charles and I really got into it on the plane, and around sundae number five, I realized we should move in together."

I, too, saw it a bit differently than our esteemed reviewer. The joke machine aspect is never a negative and there was plenty of action and plot jammed into 21 minutes of show. The references to Goodfellas and more so My Blue Heaven were icing on the cake of a terrific and memorable episode.

"I’ve never been more shocked."

The action sequence starting in the foyer of the mansion and ending on the freeway is extremely captivating and I tend to watch it whenever its on. But yeah, the rest of it is mostly indecipherable nonsense, stoner ideas floating out into the ether with no hope of return.

Carbon copy movies are a variant of the theme. Teen Wolf Too and more recently The Hangover II were just inferior repeats of the original.

I'm not sure what the "as special" swipe is all about, the outcome was predetermined. Ted Cruz ran his mouth about "NY values" in Iowa and Clinton was elected senator in NY. "Special" had nothing to do with it.

Ryan Murphy and Vince Gilligan both have the same "write it as you go" approach to crafting their individual series. One of them does it much, much better than the other.

What They Were Probably Promoting on Carson (23 Jan 1986):

I'm really happy that the winner of that epic battle last Friday is actually making something of the victory. He is definitely growing on me, strange facial expressions and all. The image of the smiling Buddha sprang to my mind tonight. (Is that racist? I hope its not racist.)

Godfather III. I have done all I can to remove it from my memory, but pesky remnants still remain.

I'm pretty sure the two choices are guilty or not guilty; the decision is devoid of nuance. And judges determine punishment, not juries.

Doesn't that break one of the Avocado's by-laws? I thought trampling on the mothership's toes was verboten.

You totally had me in your corner….and then you bad mouthed Bob Barker. Utter sacrilege. HOW DARE YOU!!!
