I agree. Don't get bogged down with preconceptions about what this show should be or how it fits into the DC mythology and you'll be fine. It's entertainment for entertainments sake, it doesn't have to be anything more than that.

I have been known to stare at this gif for way too long:
I'm not really saying anything about the show, but it's ratings really don't justify it running for 3 seasons. BTW, I fully intend to watch the upcoming season.
And of course, the NY Football Giants played there.
Samantha Bee peeling off her jacket to reveal a Ted Cruz T-shirt was extremely confusing for me. Stop simultaneously stimulating my libido and my intellect, Bee!
What They Were Probably Promoting on Carson (12 Feb 1985):
This was one where I kicked myself after they revealed the answer. The only thing I could think of in the allotted time was "Golden Domers".
#15 Camryn Manheim is intimidating and terrific as Control on Person of Interest.

I don't think that many would survive having Huell dropped on them.
Screamers!
Any network that is bringing Halt and Catch Fire back for a third season is never going to even think about cancelling this show. I'm sure they would like to stay in the Vince Gilligan business for a long, long time.
To point out the obvious (I like to stick with my strengths), Breaking Bad was the Walter White story, not the Saul Goodman story. All parties not seen might be alive and mostly well.
So Mike was a sniper in the Vietnam war. Seems about right.
Or coming as close to hearing her say "pig fucker" as basic cable allows.
It's small consolation that Chuck is sick. It doesn't make his actions any less despicable, but at least there is a measure of karmic justice.
Maybe he didn't know the veterinarian when the skull got lodged in his shoulder.
Chuck's "illness" may not be physical, but that doesn't make it any less real. Is it coincidence that right after he really screwed over Jimmy (i.e. Kim's demotion to the dungeon) that he became really ill? No, Chuck's sick, just not from what he thinks it is. Guilt and internal conflict can tear a person apart.
