"I cannot… …even."

Popovich after the game: "I'm just glad my general manager wasn't in the locker room, because it might have gotten me fired."
How did that taste Cavs? Classic Pop.

So I made the mistake of watching a Jimmy Fallon "comedy" segment where he brings out albums that you shouldn't buy and he brought out a album by "Wing" without making even a passing reference that she was the basis for an entire episode of South Park. He really is the absolute worst.

*Sigh*
Another lemon party video. I wish people would stop posting those damn things.

Have to confess I had no idea who Cameron Bright was, but I was happy to see the delightful Billy Crystal film Running Scared listed. I googled and I still don't know who Cameron Bright is, and that is definitely not the delightful Billy Crystal film.

"One hit, that's all we got, one goddamn hit?"
[whispering] "You can't say goddamn on the air."
"Don't worry, nobody is listening anyway."

What They Were Probably Promoting on Carson (26 Apr 1985):

Fred seemed to have a little more pep in his step his second time out, which makes me think that his somnolent style during his first appearance was caused by nerves. I liked the more energetic Fred and thought he bordered on adorable when he couldn't contain his delight over winning. Go Fred!

That was fairly disappointing to watch. I'll just say that regular season Spurs and postseason Spurs are two completely different animals.

Somebody forgot to post this on the main page…not pointing any fingers, mind you.

The AV Club

I don't really remember Ed being gone when Johnny was there, not to say that it didn't happen. My first hand experience was almost exclusively during the eighties and nineties. He did have several independent projects, especially in the eighties, so it wouldn't really surprise me.

You're ruining my feeling that it's gonna be a wonderful day, HAWTHORN!!!

I think if Johnny was off, Ed was also off more often than not. Wikipedia agrees with me, though I don't see a specific citation for that piece of information.

Al Jazeera America is shuttering their doors come April. Doesn't lend itself to bolstering their credibility.

Just because it wasn't funny doesn't mean it wasn't a joke.

In one of the endless waves of publicity that has endlessly buffeted the airwaves for Grease, I learned that Carly Rae Jepsen is 30 years old. I hope she had somebody call her maybe a couple of years ago because now she's WAY TOO OLD!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
(Okay, she's not old, but she's a hell of a lot older than I

What They Were Probably Promoting on Carson (2 Sept 1987):

The opening line is Panthers - 5 1/2 over the Broncos. That doesn't make them huge favorites. I think the Broncos defense coupled with Peyton's football smarts might be enough to overcome his slinky arm. Broncos keep it close and pull off the upset.

The Man Who Loved Cat Dancing premiered in the US on June 28, 1973. I'm guessing Johnny stuck to lighter subjects, but ya never know.
