Thanks, Beth. Lots of good info here. It’s easy for me to get caught up in the emotions, and the tips here bring me back to what’s important.

I remember my dad doing these routines at home in the early ‘70s, and his efforts certainly yielded the intended results. Thanks for the trip to some awesome nostalgia, Beth, and the reminder that this is an oldie but a goodie.

I pulled a backup Apple Bluetooth keyboard out of the closet to use for a task the other day to find that one of the batteries had burst and burned straight through the bottom of the battery compartment. Lovely.

Trying not to judge… Failed.

At OAK, I hit up Andalé in Terminal 2 for a neat tequila (maybe a Chamucos reposado). If I’m really hungry, two. Their pours are fantastic, and the price is NOT airport-sky-high. (If I’m really, really hungry, then the above with a mesquite chicken salad smothered with goodies from the fresh salsa bar.)

This is a super-cool idea. Thanks for covering it.

This article was fantastic back when I first read it, and it’s still good today. I’d LOVE to see an updated version soon. Thanks!

Funny, I just decided yesterday to stop tracking my sleep, which I’ve been doing for the past 14 months. I clearly haven’t made improving a priority (because I’d have done so by now), so why bother tracking?

Excellent choice of ice cream and a great idea. Thx!

Please don’t recommend putting industrial oil on a beautiful avocado. That’s just wrong.

No GI Joe Training Center???

Even if a showroom doesn't touch the settings on a TV, the manufacturers do. Most TVs require significant adjustment/calibration to look as intended. Also: Most consumers don't know enough to even care and are perfectly happy watching overly vivid, stretched and cropped video on their sets.

That's actually the full-color display. Man, those were expensive!

An HD 20 or 40 SC. Nice. That's 20 or 40 whole megabytes. My first was an HD 20 that connected to the floppy port. LOL
