I personally find W13 to be a very old fashioned, cheesy, TV series. It looks cheap too (although obviously better-looking than Dr Who). I don't know... I guess I like super-productions that have very expanded story lines and complex themes. W13 (and Eureka) just feel "small" to me. But that's just my personal

@Nabaraj: Because if you're tethering against a laptop, you're going to be using more data than when using a phone (e.g. you'd be feeling comfortable browsing more, downloading files, and not using mobile versions of pages).

""What we still didn't get (and want in iOS 5)""

@matt buchanan: Well, I hope it works. I made a search about it, I read about a lot of people having trouble with such a combo port, some couldn't even plug-in their USB cable in it, it didn't fit right. I'm not convinced. Plus, even my 9" netbook has 3 USB ports. ;-)

I like the look of this laptop, but from what I read elsewhere (that other site that shall not be named ;-), it only has a single USB port (the second USB port is a non-standard DELL port that requires an adapter, or something), and VGA instead of HDMI. Give me some keyboard light too, and I'd pay $700 for it. But

@Bill-Lee: There is a difference to say "based on a true story" and indeed base your movie to a true story, or say that it was inspired by it. In fact, many movies DO say that they were *inspired* rather than "based". And besides, the Texas Chainsaw massacre people didn't INVENT stories *outside* of their movie!

I knew of this fakery for 2-3 months ago, and I tweeted AGAINST seeing this movie, exactly because it tries to pass as "based on a true story".

I found the show cheaply constructed. It felt a bit too claustrophobic, and the lighting/color grading were terrible.

I could not find a single 1080p *plasma* TV over 52" announced today that supports 120Hz and 24p. I am sad, because my husband and I are in the market for a new TV to replace our old Sharp 540p TV. :(
