I think what’s being missed in this listicle is the substance of the comic book version history. Yes, we’ve got dates and times provided, but many of these characters (and not really the comparisons being drawn here) were created to feed off the popularity of the other publisher’s original version (Thanos and Darkseid

Fun BOY Three

Fun Boy Three, not Fun Ball Three.

I actually think the character is intentionally supposed to be kind of bratty and immature. That’s the kind of dark side user she is. It is said repeatedly that she’s impulsive. She acts without thinking. She’s kind of similar to a young Anakin in that way, actually.

It’s interesting that, in a story talking about all the obvious racism she is encountering, your response is “Here are the not-racist reasons I don’t like her”

Anyone commenting with a review of the performance, character, or show, positive or negative, is completely missing the point, and pushes forward the dangerous idea that treating actors as human beings deserving of respect, free from bigotry is somehow conditional. It is not. There is absolutely no excuse for the kind

Someone who was around at the time told me Boyd did the show because he was struggling to keep his business alive. Every car you saw built was for the same guy because Foose leaving cost him most of his customers. Then Charlie Hutton left and cost him the rest. Considering how much Tuttle Sr. was able to make selling

Graveyard cars. Mark W is such an annoying tool to watch and listen to. And all the usual formulaic tricks are there to get you hyped up. I think their end products are fantastic bordering on fanatical but I just can’t stomach him.

The old Top gear was about the only car show I watched. Almost everything else produced makes me embarrassed to tell people I’m into cars. Counting cars is about the worst. Danny is what I imagine a ponytail from a 70 year old bald guy would look like and sound like if came to life and took human form.

American Hot Rods with Boyd Coddington. What made it so god awful is that he, up until that show, was revered as a builder of high quality cars. Then on the show almost every time he touched a car instead of his crew he screwed something up. So because of the fake tight timeline drama they would then do hack fixes for

As much as I do appreciate some of the stuff from MotorTrend, I have to choose Truck U. It is seems to only be targeting the weekend accessorizing truck guy market. Every thing they seem to do, or advertise is “snap-on” “clip-on” or “bolt-on” swap parts. Occasionally, they showcase someone else’s really cool build.

Graveyard Carz is terrible. At least other “reality” car shows that try to insert plot put some effort into it. Theirs seem like they were written by a 4 year old and acted out by mechanics who have zero interest in acting.

Diesel Brothers!

I watched an ep or two of graveyard carz (yes, with a Z because so edgy and cool). The main guy just kept coming up with (i.e. likely completely scripted in) useless knowledge of mopars as a “gotcha” whenever his ego felt particularly fragile. “yeah well, you didn’t know that in 1972 the coronet RT only had 765

Graveyard Cars was garbage, don’t know if it’s still on or not. Otherwise any NASCAR Pre-race show
