@Trideramentium: It's a pretty quick read, makes for a great subway/train book.

@edicius: Same here. If any of you haven't read it the book is pretty good.

@Trideramentium: That's the first thing i thought of too. Okay show, but a great book.

@Grimfella: No real offence taken and I do hear ya, whenever i find myself in williamsburg i roll my eyes so much i think they're going to get stuck that way.

@anonygoose: Yep, same here, first thing i thought of was Slippy from Starfox.

@Erik The Red: I had something similar happen to me when having stuff delivered to my office. UPS was unresponsive and continued to claim up and down that it had been delivered. Someone even signed for it, never mind that no one by that name works in my office. The only reason i ended up receiving my stuff was

@glottis8: That's just awesome...

@karelj: Yeah, i remember when williamsburg was a hard neighborhood and then '98 hit and everyone started moving out there...

@karelj: Sorry about that, I didn't mean to generalize. I grew up in queens and went to HS in brooklyn and should really know better. Didn't mean to offend.

@Grimfella: You've got a good eye. They're actually made from the feces of trendy brooklynites...

These are pretty cool. Also, Urbanears

@Gary_7vn: I was thinking the exact same thing. I have a job with a ventless fireplace (it burns an alcohol cartridge rather than wood/gas) ultimately to get it approved we had to basically enclose it in a custom glass box. I can't imagine a jurisdiction that's going to approve an open flame floating at 30".

@Spderweb: It was my birthday yesterday. Happy Birthday!

@mkasimy: I don't see how. If anything it reaffirms evolution as a concept. Mono Lake wasn't always nearly as alkaline nor arsenic heavy as it is today.

@Alibelle: Polaroid doesn't make it anymore but Fuji has been making an alternative instant film for years. That and i believe some company bought the rights to the Polaroid formula a few years ago and was planning on continuing to make it once Polaroid stopped.

@crazypills77: I don't think people appreciate just how portable while at the same time versatile this thing is.

@Monty: I was pretty ambivalent of the new trilogy but i never thought of it the way you describe above.

@acidrain69: I liked THX-1138 though i feel like he lifted many of the themes and imagery from Yevgeny Zamyatin's novel WE, which i also like.

@datafox: I totally forgot about that movie! I need to break out the DVDs tonight.
