The current trend I’m sick of is the rouge-like/lite. I want to feel like I’m getting somewhere in a game.

Spent quite some time with the beta from the kickstarter; I really really want to like the game but something just isn’t clicking. What’s funny is that Dead Cells which is similar clicked almost immediately with me and could be accused of having the same shortcomings. There’s just something about the way this game…
Even though its in alpha I can’t stop playing Dead Cells. Perfect game on a handheld.
Thanks!
I’ve been working on something for almost a year now. Started it before the Switch came out which has admittedly stolen some of my thunder. But i’m in too deep not to finish it.
Finally finishing Furi and getting through little nightmares on the handheld pc.
It’s all I’ve been playing on my morning commute lately.
Got my preorder but supplementing it with my own handheld:
True, I see where you’re coming from. The only real free time I have to game is on my subway commute which isn’t too conducive to laptop gaming. What I’ve found interesting since I made this is just how many games are perfectly playable on a small screen. Not surprised Nintendo snatched up Thumper, I’ve been playing…

I was on the C train myself this morning playing some Ori and the Blind Forest on my Steam handheld.
Couldn’t wait for the Switch...built a Steam handheld to play PC games on the go:
Some more Owlboy and Hyperlight Drifter on my home made steam handheld:
Finally getting to Owlboy on my steam portable.
Have been working on a steam portable ( www.instagram.com/specializationisoverrated ) to finally tackle the backlog. Hoping to put it through its paces with Fallout3, and Hyperlight Drifter this weekend.
They should be able to get at least 5hrs of battery life with a 7" screen. I’m currently working on a portable 5" steam machine as a hobby project and have managed to get 3.5hrs on a fairly hefty battery while still keeping the unit about 1" thick. That includes the inefficiencies of running Windows and the fact that…
