I think it's still shocking to hear your own sister wanted you dead when you were just an infant. GIven his incredibly dire childhood, it's surprising that Tyrion grew up with any self esteem. I'm guessing Jaime was the main positive role model in his life and obviously looked out for him.

Another stellar episode, though I'm pissed they already killed off Proteus. Looks like the creature is going to have some daddy issues. And I'm confused if Vanessa was still possessed after leaving the seance and jumping all over that guy on the street. Part of me thought she was going to rip his head off.

It was great to see Peter Dinklage get 3 long scenes, and he nails each one. Especially the heartbreaking close up while Oberyn is describing his childhood visit.

There is something oddly beautiful about Bonnie and Damon dying together, though I doubt it will be permanent for either of them.

Tuesday is the clear standout: likely last season of a beloved series and a new show from the people behind Arrow.

I don't believe for a second that Sherlock used the heroin. I also find his preoccupation with having Watson live in the same house a bit of a stretch, unless he really does need her around to stay clean. I just don't buy it.

The declaration of love scene was so horribly written and staged I breathed a sigh of relief when I knew it was faked. Too bad the writers also missed their perfect chance to kill off Laurel in another installment of Oliver's Choice. So the next season will be partly set in Hongcouver? How appropriate.

I'm not a fan of S7, which certainly had a theme going and focus - to deprive the brothers of their usual groundings (Bobby, Bobby's home and the Impala). I just didn't care for the direction the show went. S9 is turning out to be my second least favorite.

I agree, Zach was one of the best villains. Kurt Fuller really chewed the hell out of his dialogue. Also loved Azazel, Gordon Walker, Alastair and the original Meg.

I agree with the tight s7 focus, but will always hate the Leviathans for killing Bobby.

Way too many villains and a lack of focus were big problems this season.

Yes, I'd be happy with a finale of Cas stabbing all the angels. Just get rid of them so we can start fresh.

So this is where the whole season has been headed? What a letdown. Poor Tessa, so memorable from S2 deserved a better send off. Metatron is too bafoonish to be the big bad. No doubt he will be taken down next week, but I don't think there's been a weaker villain since Dick Roman. Finally, the lack of any connection

It's definite gotten better over the season, but I still don't give a hoot if any character dies.

Yeah, completely didn't expect to shed a tear in the last 5 minutes. I usually avoid horror as I like to keep certain images from entering my head, but this I will watch.

The last 10 minutes of Penny Dreadful totally subverted my expectations of horror and moved me to tears. That's shocking.

Yeah, sleeping with Mycroft had no impact on Sherlock's mental health at all. I guess we all have different ethical boundaries.

What about the guy she met from the dating website earlier in the season? I think he came by to check in on her. I always thought he would make a return visit.

Or in this case, Bros before Bros?

As Sherlock's former sober companion, I just can't believe a woman as smart as Watson would ever consider sleeping with Mycroft. That's covered in Professional Ethics 101. Plus she's waayyyy out of his league!
