Another strong episode with a beautifully sad performance by Laura Benanti. I also loved the end scene between Sherlock and the abused son, a complex mixture of authority "I'll be watching you" and protectiveness " you can talk to me
". I'd give it an A-

That's the best acting in a trunk I've ever seen! Hope we get to see Crowley sooner than later. But a Carver written episode with Death and Bobby in the mix, I'm more than satisfied. Let's begin the Angel/Demon free-for-all!

Elementary's "M" episode when Sherlock and Watson had that heartfelt conversation about how much they really mean to each other. Lucy Liu and Jonny Lee Miller totally nailed that scene.
“I’m going to miss this. Not…this. But you know. This.”

Can we request a new reviewer? Carrie Raisler did a great job covering one week. Actually anyone else would be great. Pretty please?

I've given up on this show, the writing is just too terrible to redeem.

I'd like to defend Jared Padalecki as an actor. When the writers give him good material, like in Mystery Spot written by Carver, he hits it out of the park. That is still my favorite episode of SPN, and the range that Jared showed in his performance was incredible.

Corey Stoll's heartbreaking performance should get this at least a 'B'.

I'm mainly watching now for scenes with Miles and Monroe. And perhaps the hope that Charlie gets killed off in the season finale.

Wow Todd, TMI. But seriously, if you "contemplated suicide fairly frequently" back then, I really don't think cyclothymia was an accurate diagnosis.

I totally agree, there wasn't much emotion or grief in the beginning until Matt showed up, and BAM, tears started flowing.

Best episode of the season so far. Please give us more Barrowman! They even made Tommy an interesting character.

Compulsively watchable, gorgeously shot, top notch acting in all categories. Definite "A" from me. Corey Stoll will get an Emmy nomination, he's too good to ignore.

Overall very impressed with the series, reminded me most of when I was watching Damages season 1. I also love discovering new actors, and I will certainly be following the career of.Corey Stoll. No longer will he be the "that actor who played Hemingway in Midnight in Paris".

Best episode of the season so far, Benny is really turning out to be a great addition. Unfortunately, the whole Amelia story looks like it should be taken at face value (?). I was hoping those weirdly lighted flashbacks were a sign she was imaginary.

I loved how Oliver went from wanting to avenge his mother's almost killer to making out with her in a few hours. Yup, family is really important to him!

So instead of Souless Sam, this season we apparently get Whiny Sam.

Lauren Tom was fantastic, definitely one of the more memorable female guest stars on the show. Hope we get to see more of her this season. The auction itself was hilarious and I'd definitely vote for Jared to star in the next Thor remake.
