I actually disagree with pretty much everyone on here. I don’t like hearing the word and having it invade my space. I understand that he was trying to quote someone (although it was a totally unqualified quote, I believe Obannonn probably has used this language but it hurts his point to misquote him) but I think say

Good lord, Jezebel’s politics are all over the goddamn place.

It will never stop being amusing how offended white people get on behalf of black people but won’t do a thing to actually help make changes other than “have a dialogue”. Which, apparently, requires the use of juvenile euphemisms to make points about who can say what words.

I was on Kaiser’s side until I watched the segment. It’s not really quoting someone if you just say “he has said the word n...”. If you’ve got a transcript or a video or an email or a tweet where he’s used it, then cite that and repeat his quote, but don’t jus say he said it. Just follow Bannon around with a tape

The use of the word has been so normalized that in the next 18 months I expect it to be used regularly in the news media.

Uh, yeah, no. He shouldn’t have used the word, even quoting someone— which he got wrong. I’m with her. It’s not okay for the alt-right to use it, and it’s not okay for the left to use it. This is how the alt-right calls us hypocrites and gets Americans who aren’t neo-Nazis against us. Just don’t use it.

I gotta say that if you’re going to quote someone using a word like that, you damn well better get your quote right.

Just don’t say it around me, random white lady on the internet. You’d get a long, easily-read look of disdain.
