a small but dense world is as or if not more compelling to explore as the run-of-the-mill Ubi bloat.

Or even two fully populated planets; heck maybe even just one. Open-world doesn’t have to be mass-world (bad phrasing, I know). The Yakuza games are proof enough for me that a small but dense world is as or if not more compelling to explore as the run-of-the-mill Ubi bloat.
Ooooooof, give me a good solid 100 worlds with some real differences or whatever over 1000 worlds with 900 of them being basically the same with maybe a different shade of atmosphere....
The thing is there’s been a lot of research about “hard work” in regards to lower class and the rich. Most find that their really is no difference between work ethic between the two class. What does make the difference is time.
If you are rich, you can afford to take vacation, afford child care, afford good health…
I have a friend who has worked at Space X for about a decade now, he has always been in the office 60-70 hours a week. Dude’s probably a millionaire by now with the stock he’s picked up, but it’s not worth the tradeoff to me.
Ten years ago I wanted a Tesla. Now I wouldn’t accept one for free.
Two things stand out. One, the statement that being in the office 40 hours minimum is apparently less than people in the factory need to work in a week. 40 hours is generally considered the max hours before going into overtime. That makes it seem like the factory workers are being fucked.
Musk has been transitioning from “troll edgelord” to “white nationalist Republican” so I don’t think he particularly cares how people think of him.
Please use this sad Wario photo instead of the cowboy hat photo for any future Musk-related articles. Or even better, just include a picture of real Wario so we know it’s it’s an article about Musk but we don’t have to see is fucking face.
Musk’s entire brand has been “edgy asshole troll” for the last 5 years, but the problem is that eventually everyone starts to... think of you and your brand as “asshole”.
And yeah, Musk is kind of the pre-eminent asshole in social media at this point. And he’s not happy about it.
It is really so hard to understand why this happens?
Considering that Persona 4 Golden is only available on PC still and not any modern console, I’m going to say this entirely on Atlus’ incompetence and was never about some secret contract with Sony.
Okay but have we figured out what the deal is with Persona 5 yet?
This is another reason I like and support GoG before other store fronts. While they have mainly done PC, they have had some old console classics. Like the snes/sega Aladdin and Lion King. Which then given their success got a proper update by Disney themselves and released on other store fronts as well.
Honestly, more than the modern AAA games, I wish we could see more PS1 classics (and, while we’re at it, retro games from SNES / N64 / etc.) available on PC.
Something that bears mentioning as well, is that Horizon got a GOG release. In other words, it didn’t need DRM to achieve those sales.
Moral of the story: Accessibility is more profitable than exclusivity.
As someone who formerly worked with Blizzard... I’m not too surprised. Those sorts of things happened in the past, but usually, they were immediately flagged and prevented. By whom? Well, Blizzard used to have a lot of teams that were way more connected to questions of diversity: international offices that had people…
It absolutely is whataboutism. You’re saying, “Why are you caring about this thing when you don’t care about this other thing!” Completely making up the idea that people who care about this don’t care about that.
What the hell are you on about? I guarantee you that everyone here who is for unionization at this studio is also for unionization at those places too. But this is a games website, not a retail worker website. So we’re talking about the game studio that’s organizing.
