James Hong is one of the top credited actors in the movie. I haven’t seen 2049 yet, so I can’t really comment on that, but the original Blade Runner most certainly did not whitewash the future.

“It took Terry Crews years to step forward about his own assault...”
Fair enough. I had read through the Times piece but I didn’t see that anyone had accused Weinstein of rape. I was unaware of the history of McGowan’s accusation.
Well, not quite Cosby-level problems, as he hasn’t yet been accused of rape and doesn’t have a DA filing charges against him. But his career is certainly going away now, sure.
Boy, that 1.4 million sure will buy a lot of cocaine.
I’m having a hard time believing Under the Skin really qualifies on a list of best science fiction films. I found that movie to be pretty terrible. But I guess that’s one of the beautiful things about science fiction, its breadth and diversity and the fact that different people enjoy different things about it.
It’s a film the premise of which is the utilization of technology to edit memories and the ramifications of that technology. Yeah, that’s absolutely a science fiction film.
Littlefinger's goal has always been, I think, the throne. In the books, Littlefinger was named Lord Paramount of the Riverlands, and subsequently took control of the Vale of Arryn through his marriage to and murder of Lysa Arryn. That's two of the seven kingdoms.
Maybe not major, but the show has killed off a lot of secondary characters. Three died last episode alone, and quite a few died in various episodes last season. It's fun to speculate who's next.
No, that's Terry Goodkind.
I feel like that's the way they normally go.
Poor Meshach Taylor.
There's no evidence for that, but she defies traditional gender norms and Paul has shown himself to respond outwardly with homophobic comments to people like that due to his own closeted defense mechanisms.
Man, Miguel is just the worst boyfriend ever. I felt the same thing as Erik when Miguel started moralizing about the closet. Like, if I were Paul, I'd have been saying, "Really? This is the appropriate time for that conversation?"
They did. Burris, Holloway, and Dixon were specifically listed as the cops involved, and Caspere was the police accountant.
Also great when that turned into a running gag and the Hamburgler showed up again (this time to smash coffee pots) in Catherine Moves On.
The best part of the Goofy Ball episode was Bill's skepticism that Joe's homemade taser would work properly. So at the end, when he licks his finger, then moves it toward the taser… and the episode cuts away to Dave's office where he and Lisa are talking, and then you hear Bill shriek, and they both think it's Matthew…
