@Martin Webster: AAFES is there to provide choice, I used to work at the PX, we have forms to request stocking, we always followed through on those requests. If you wanted a rare goose that laid golden eggs, AAFES would acquire it for the servicemember or dependent who requested it.

Yeah EXCEPT MOST people who live on a military base and can go OFF base to shop live IN the US on a CONUS base. When I was overseas, do you think I would go off base to buy a video game? NO, I would go into the PX and pick one up in the Powerzone. Ridiculous.
