I liked Black Panther, but I’m not sure that well-made but mostly rote superhero movie + social consciousness should equal Best Picture. It was better than the fish sex movie, but it’s not the best film I’ve seen this year and I’m hoping to see some even better ones as Fall and Winter roll around.

I loved how they called back to the LemonHope and Graybles episodes where they hinted at Ooo in the distant future. I guess Gunter/Orgalorg eventually becomes the Ice Thing?  It all tracks, but I couldn’t figure (only watched the finale once so far), how the Ice Thing was also in the “Temple of Mars” episode.  Anyone?

I’m not a huge gourmand but TB is unquestionably the least disgusting national chain around. It’s cheap, it’s filling, it’s actually spicy, it’s got lots of options beyond beef, open late, etc. A lot going for it.
