Well it’s definitely not a love story but it is a story about relationships and toxicity. I found the three central characters utterly fascinating. I don’t think it’s my favorite PTA movie but I am still processing it. I would like to see it again in digital projection, my first viewing was in 70mm.

I’m so happy Devilman Crybaby has finally delivered Yuasa to a larger audience. He’s been my favorite animator ever since I saw Kaiba and Mind Game is one of my favorite films of all time. Can’t wait to see his new films. And Mind Game in a theater!
