It’s not about “250-300 miles a day”, it’s 250-300 miles ANY day. It’s not a fear of being inconvenienced daily, it’s being forced to reconsider any long travel. It's fine if it's not your only car, or if your travels are metro to metro, but that's not everybody.

Are... Are you drunk?

Literally NONE of the things that dealer did actually needed to be done. 68k miles on a Honda Fit is barely rolled off the factory floor. My best friend has one with almost 400k miles on it and the dude goes like 12k miles between oil changes, I think he’s actively trying to kill the car because he’s so sick of it.

I have said it before and I will say it again:

Am I missing something here? What’s the point of having a higher redline if you have to compromise size, weight, COG, torque, efficiency and reliability? Are Chevy’s smallblock pushrod engines some sort of statistical anomaly?

but the extra effort it took to park in the first place makes that point completely moot

When has Porsche ever built anything for the “mainstream?”

That’s a silly, childish, and ignorant comment. This guy was leading the company as a whole, but was not the man responsible for the airplane itself, or, from a more defined standpoint, responsible for the systems that led to the airplane failures. If anything, point your emotions and anger toward the project manager,

The fuck is wrong with you? Sorry your life didn’t turn out so well or how you had hoped, but guys in this position are almost never the cause of these issues as they go through tens to hundreds of other people before it finally reaches them, and often they never even see or even have their hands on the project

Oh yeah! Back in college we took the cap off somebody’s pickup truck to haul what I think was 20-30 wooden chairs in one trip. And then separately we moved half a dozen tables. (Don’t worry, it was entirely on private roads and nobody was in danger.)

You misspoke, you recorded it, and then you published it.

Oh yeah bc sports stadiums hire 25k people with an avg salary of $150k per year.

Absolutely not.  She still cost the state over 20k jobs

Or getting two Masters in fields that don’t pay...

FWD and that motor. You would die.

Because almost nobody in the US will buy it?

That’s really just how all metals work. They conduct heat to things.

An infinite number of e-tron Audi SUVs aren’t going to care whether you know who the CEO of the company is. But they’re coming.

It’s not a particularly free market. Using licensing to limit those who are able to compete in a given profession is not a free market.
