I absolutely loathe Chevrolet commercials. The are the most insufferably, self-aggrandizing, stroke-job, advertising garbage ever created.
Lol society failed a gifted, popular athlete with an extremely bright future and a massive multi million dollar contract? Yeah, he drew a really bad hand. If only there was something society could have done for him. More adulation, more opportunities! None of this was his fault. /s
Society failed him? Are you fucking kidding me?
Oh give me a fucking break. Society failed him by making him an idolized millionaire? Get a fucking grip.
In a court of law, they are entirely relevant. Victim blaming is when you blame someone who is blameless. For instance a woman who was raped and someone mentions what she was wearing (because wearing something doesn’t cause rape). Walking onto a hot race track can result in your death and you should know this.
It absolutely matters if he was high, and it has nothing to do with what he “deserved.” If he’s high that speaks to recklessness as well as unpredictability.
Jesus Christ, how is this still going?!
Very simple fact. Had Kevin Ward Jr. not exited his race car and walked down the racing surface, he would still be alive. Everything else in this case is irrelevant. If I pull my car over on the shoulder and get out, stepping in front of a semi, is it my fault or the semi driver’s fault?
The Leaf can be had for less than half the price of the Bolt, it wins even if it’s not as good.
Okay. But. Where in Syria are these missiles going to land? On more innocent people? Or do we actually have a plan....?
Dear NATO and the U.N., We did exactly what should have been done the first time chemical weapons were used in Syria by Assad.
P.S. It could have already been over years ago sparing thousands of civilian lives. U.N., Please get your head out of your ass and prove that you are still relevant.
Signed, The U.S.
I know this comment will receive some level of backlash because of the following that Tesla has, but...
It’s a perfect idea for passenger cars. It’s far more efficient than gasoline, in many cases being very close to/above hybrid efficiency.
No, passing on a double yellow is being an asshole. Swerving to intimidate and kill is [attempted (edit)] murder. Asshole is much lower on the scale.
You’re confusing the Constitution of the United States with a city ordnance?
These posts are getting old. “Man parks collection of fire trucks in front of house” “man parks airplane in driveway”. Can we stop defending these people? They are any eyesore, and they make the neighborhood look like a circus, which hurts house prices. What’s so wrong with neighbors trying to maintain their house…
So there are the people who assume minimalism is beauty. It is not. There is beauty in minimalism if it’s executed well (see: Volvo, Audi, IKEA. And I know tesla poached the main interior designer from volvo). This just sucks. It’s minimalism for the sake of minimalism, without design or beauty.
Because Canadians have similar wages, and labor and environmental protections as the US, Mexico doesn’t. That puts Mexico at a distinct cost advantage, usually at the expense of the US.
