Personally, as an uneducated consumer, and based on the marketing hype surrounding the Bronco Sport, I would expect similar off road performance to the Cherokee Trailhawk. Having now read this article and doing a brief google search on the Trailhawk, I can see that they wont compare off road, as the Trailhawk

So, like this?

Sorry, but must disagree here. In Colorado it is very common to see people running summer tires year round, with no intention of ever buying winters. These people are who this message is intended for. In the Denver area it does snow in the winter, but typically melts the next day, so we do have maybe 10-20 days a year

This will sell quickly now that it is down to $2,500. It is a turbo Subaru manual wagon in Colorado. Anyone who has not lived here will not understand how obsessed people here are with owning really any Subaru. About the only other vehicle that people are more obsessed with here are old Toyota Pickups/Tacomas.

No matter how many time I try to edit, it still does not let me correct to RIGHT-hand side...

I went to a Focus ST. AWD is not make or break for me, but definitely need a hatchback for ski stuff, and turbo for getting up crazy mountain roads. Learned to drive in the snow in a RWD ford country squire wagon without snow tires in Maine. You dont need AWD with good snow tires and a bit of skill.

I am selling this exact car right now. White 2005 GT wagon, with a burnt valve...

Both your vehicles are faster than these new Subarus. Bought my wife an impreza with the CVT, and while it is a great car, it... is... really... slow. Overall we are very happy with it. CVT is surprisingly good, it gets great gas mileage, easily fits 4 full size adults and their stuff, and is a beast in the snow. But

Running higher does nothing for you, but also won’t hurt anything. Octane rating is essentially resistance to precombustion. Cars that run with tight timing, high compression and/or forced induction are more prone to precombustion, so require higher octane. A car that is tuned for 87, will run fine on anything higher,

Changing spark plugs, or valve cover gaskets on a Subaru turbocharged engine...

I love it, I want it, and if I had the $17K laying around, would buy it.

Bought my wife a 2013 with CVT. Personally, I don’t enjoy driving it nearly as much as my 2005 Legacy GT. For my wife, who has no interest in ever getting sideways, it is perfect. The 2013 is a beast in the snow, and gently but firmly corrects all her mistakes. The traction control works far better in the snow than my

About 15 years ago or so, during the Christmas shopping season, at the mall. There was LOTS of snow piled in the lot, so the already limited parking was SEVERELY restricted. Some jackass in a BMW takes two spots by parking centered on the line that divides them. Not even that nice a BMW (mid-range, 5 or 6 years old,

Most Country Squires had SIDE facing seats.

I had a 91 Civic Si for about 4 years, and routinely got about 40MPG highway doing 85-90MPH. I would expect that with more judicious driving than I was doing at 18, you could come close to the 50MPG mark with this car. 55 is probably an exaggeration, but not by too much.
