My Volvo V60 Cross Country specifically, but generally speaking any lifted station wagon.

All but the last of these is already managed perfectly fine without AI, and the last will not be possible on this car so is irrelevant.

Many states have no safety inspection, and just test emissions instead.

Trying to change from MPG to GPHM in the USA will be just as successful as the change to the metric system was.

I think you got a crappy dealer trying to scam you. We were quoted around $100 / year for our Volvos once the free period ends. I would recommend reaching out another dealer to see if they can do better. You should be able to buy from most any dealer in the US. Example, I live in CO, but bought my extended warranty

It is obvious what will prevail here on Jalopnik... Infotainment systems... Far too complex for simple controls... Want to change interior temp? This requires 37 clicks in 12 different menus... Want to change the radio station? 18 clicks through 7 menus... Want to turn off the seat heaters? GFL...

Any Jeep / Stellantis PHEV. Start with a very poor existing record for reliability, add in tons of additional complexity, and do it all in a rush to keep up with the competition. I would LOVE to get a more efficient and environmentally friendly offroader, but wouldn’t dare put my money on one of these 4Xe’s, much less

Volvo V60 Cross Country. Super comfortable, powerful enough, handles pretty well for a tall heavy wagon, looks great, and easily gets me pretty far off the beaten path, along with our dog, our friend and our stuff. Have taken my 2021 on many road trips over the past 2 years, and racked up just about 50k miles so far,

The Crosstrek hybrid only proves a marginal boost to efficiency (35city vs 28 city, essentially same highway), for a $10k price premium. Those shoppers who value efficiency enough to pay a premium likely are cross shopping with other options that get noticably better mileage for about the same price. Those that value

Billionaires have a completely different relationship to money than the vast majority of people. They will gladly piss away millions just to one-up each other because money really doesn’t matter to them. Then they will argue over just a few thousand because they simply can't stand losing.

Jesus, this is an easy one... Wagons... The answer is wagons... Not just one particular make/model, but all the wagon options the rest of the world gets that we don't. Regular cars that are reasonably priced, easy to drive, and are able to haul much more than a sedan, but also are safer and more efficient than an SUV

Wish I could give you more than just one star...

Having just drove cross country for the holidays, including the entirety of I90 through New York State, I am all for more diversity of food options on this stretch. Personally, I do not like McDonalds. Beyond being low quality unhealthy crap, I just don’t like the taste either (I will eat other fast food in a pinch).

I once got a 2012 Dodge Avenger as a rental after my Subaru was rear ended. Drove it for a day, and exchanged it for a base model Nissan Versa Note. The Avenger was simply a terrible car... The steering was vague, which would have been bad enough, but it also wandered back and forth within the lane. The interior was

Denver is weird... I moved here from Maine years ago, and it is very very different with regards to winter...

Tethnically not an install, but removing the lower bolsters on the godawful Recaro seats in my old Focus ST made it comfortable enough to drive for more than 30min. Prior to that, it was either stop ever hour or so to stretch my legs, or constantly shift my seating position to ensure continued blood flow to my legs.

Also came here to say this. BTW, you can just replace the rubber blade on the Volvo wipers, rather than the whole frame. The dealer has official Volvo parts, but aftermarket off Amazon works just as well.

A credit will reduce overall tax liability, triggering a refund if you paid enough over the year that your liability is less than what was paid to date. A refundable credit will get you the entire credit paid out to you, even if the credit exceeds your liability (causing a negative liability and triggering a refund

Teslas... live near Denver, work in Boulder, and swear that all Tesla drivers around here embody the “Smug Alert” episode of South Park... F you all... You driving an overpriced virtue signal of an electric car does NOT make up for all of your other sins, environmental and otherwise... Nor does it give you the right

Go lay down and die you sad sack peice of crap. Progress marches on despite you and your BS.
