oh man. the hillclimb car! seeing (and hearing. my God!) these V12's and V16's running in Monterrey was one of the best things in my life.

Z1! yes, the doors did sink down into the side panels. it was a prototype that never (obviously) made it to production, but did lead to the Z3 in a few ways.

NEED to hear this. wow.

um, wouldnt that be SVO-R?

oh my. back in 5.

that cant be good for the wheel bearings on a AWD car. the worse thing for me is watching them drag it up the flatbed- it was clearly in gear (or frozen that way) which can ruin a diff or a transfer case. yes, I have some experience with this- my WRX grenaded the front diff....taking out the whole transmission.

Wheres my red swingline stapler? they took it from me.

are we back to the 2.0L V-12 from yesterday? neat!

Gurney approved!

Best:
2013 Camaro SS that has had some work done to it. it was probably pushing 550 at the rear wheels through a slightly modified 6 speed. when you turned the damn thing on it was like an explosion. took on a viper and almost had him. stupid fun.
worst:
my 2004 jeep cherokee that i cant quite afford to replace yet. i am

yessssss!!!

Jeez. while on EJ20s, why not also include the “glass transmission” that when one thing goes, it not only takes out the transmission but also the front diff. i sold a dead WRX for $2500 because the fix of the transmission was too damn high.

...sneaks out and heads over to stanceworks for a peek....

...not that anything is left, except for a ford dealership with a hint at the racetrack....

good grief. i’ve got a few:

one was in the late 80s in a BMW 320i that somehow got a rock to the gas tank in the middle of nowhere on I-10 towards Phoenix and started to leak. bubble gum and duct tape got us to the nearest BMW dealer for a new tank. I wish i was kidding on the patch- drive 20 miles, stop and check,
