Straight out contempt towards Megan seems like a bit of a stretch, but Peggy's opinion of Ginsberg and Megan (i.e., prior to this episode: I wish they were not threatening my job security) are still probably close.

With the fight at the end, how great* was it that Don & Megan ended back on the white carpet again? Of course, replacing "role-playing/hate-fucking" with "Dear God, something has gone terribly wrong."
If the rest of the episodes are just Lane cold clocking people, going to pubs, and being bad at business meetings, I will buy at least 10 copies of the season DVDs.
"Thanks for helping me with this sink, Don! I sure do appreciate your help, co-worker!"
-Inverse Pete Campbell
W/that line, Sepinwall actually drew an interesting comparison between Pete & Michael Scott — smarter people can parse that out further, but the whole "needing emotional validation from the entirely wrong sources" thing stuck out for me.
The "Cooper's Asides" streak continues unabated, though!
W/the sub-thread of "The Continuing Emasculation of Pete Campbell, Man-Boy," I'm split between whether Pete's ineptitude as a plumber in front of the wives or getting cold clocked by Lane was more heartbreaking/satisfying.
Third'd (or fourth'd or whatever by now) on the continuing coverage.
On the plus side, I'm totally drafting Betty as a middle linebacker on my "Mad Men, If They Were A Fantasy Football Team" team.
Congratulations, Internet! We've willed our disdain towards Betty Draper into giving her a benign tumor and 40 lbs — if we can patch things up with Dan Harmon & Chevy Chase, we'll be golden.
On this point, Dave Itzkoff is a national treasure:
60% residual tension boiling over, 40% hate-fucking?
SPOILER ALERT: Don Draper wakes up in bed with Bob Newhart and Suzanne Pleshette in 1990.
Fake Moby was actually J.P. Manoux, who played Fake Moby on HIMYM back in Season 1 or so — between this and 30 Rock, the Thursday shows' casting are killing it.
We even brought video cameras! We're not sure why, but we're gonna point them at everything.
I was about to post the same thing — I'm glad someone else reads the AVC Writers Twitter list equally often.
Seconding @avclub-0f0d67e214f9fef69b278e3d08114da9:disqus and @TashaRobinson:disqus — after reading all the pre-release reviews, "punching D'Agata in the face" was my gut reaction, followed by a nosebleed.
*high five*
Moral: if we don't have makeup on, we'll all look like Weird Al/bloated husks of flesh.
Seconded with @avclub-83bbcd6dcec89f078faeaa5dea583a8f:disqus — I can't think of too many other single-cameras on FOX that dealt with similar topics (Oliver Beene? I might be the only one who watched that, admittedly), but Malcolm always had its cast to fall back on when it dipped later on in its run.
