Yeah, on one hand the hate for this book makes me wary, on the other hand plenty of people have hated on things that I really enjoyed, so maybe it'll be okay. Also, Spielberg is a really great director, so maybe he'll manage to do a great job leaving out the flaws of the source material and just make a film that

I guess people have made good movies out of dumb books before, so maybe that will happen here? I dunno. I don't really have any skin in this game. If it turns out great, then good for them.

Yeah, I'd heard some recommendations for this book, but now this backlash has me thinking I'll dislike it the way I dislike Big Bang Theory. I got the book for free, though, so maybe I'll start reading while telling myself I can activate my ejector seat anytime if things become to intolorable.

Much less MANY stories which would necessitate a rack.

Eventually, real-life will be that thing you occasionally do for two hours at a time, and Avengers films will be where you spend most of your waking hours.

Sounds like a regular Merry Marvel Marching Society.

Then how many more movies until Jessica Cruz???

(Over-excitedly jumping the gun) Big Barda confirmed!

Ha! Such a burn, but nonetheless so fair. :)

There's elements of Wonder Woman and The Flash's powers for which it makes sense to do occasional slo-mo shots (bullet-dodging and super-speed), so I don't have a problem with it's use, but yeah still hoping it isn't overdone. Once you've established that WW is dodging/deflecting bullets, you don't have to show every

I'm a big fan of the MCU, but I also really want Justice League to be good. Been reading more DC comics this past year, and these characters are really special and deserve a great movie.

I had some bits of Man of Steel I liked and others I really didn't, but at the end it seemed the "dark times" were over and we were seeing more of a comics-style Superman, ready to handle his next adventure. Then instead we got BVS.

"Did you hear that horrible sound when that Kryptonian's neck was snapped? It was deafening. Then his limp body fell to the floor. I feel like I've just seen the best part of myself."

Close. Same actress, but she's actually playing Ethel from Riverdale. Cos, y'know, it's a comic book movie.

"Pauley, dij'you meet wit da Russians, Pauley? Pauley, tell me flat out."

Texas Hold Them, I think it's called. So childish. "Got to hold them all!"

Me too. It helps that my wife and son are still into it. I think it's one of those things that's fun if you're around other people who play too. The changes to gyms and the addition of raids has made it a lot better, too, though there are still a lot of weird quirks that could be fixed in the game, as well as better

No, they're doing DopeWars.

Steve Bannon is a malevolent energy being from another dimension. The body you see on TV and in the news is just the latest meatbag he has inhabited in order to spread his evil in our world.

It's pronounced huntin'.
