I think the simple fact that all the storylines are converging leads to the story speeding up. They no longer need to spend a half a season showing story arcs for each major character that are all happening concurrently. Now each arc with have 2 or more of the major characters in them.

I didn’t mean no other superheroes period. Spidey was always a loner, his path might have crossed with other heroes or groups but it was always Spidey in the end on his own defeating his enemies.

I’m really of two minds about the whole Iron Man being Spidey’s mentor and providing the suit and such. It irks me that he’s treated a little like the Sidekick. Maybe I’m old fashioned, but for me one of the big allures of Spider Man was always the fact that he was a loner. It lead to a lot of the angst in his comics…

Ok, so bear with me. Klingons started out as some vaguely “Asian” looking, then we got some slight brow ridges. Then came the next generation and full on multiple deep brown ridges down to the nose (and a distinct dominatrix feel to the females - looking at you B’Etor).

Was once looking at a particular intersection in Dallas, corner lot was an empty grassed lot. Zoom in - empty lot. Zoom in more - empty lot. Zoom in all the way - boom - the empty lot is now a store with parking lot.
