Huh? Especially white people visiting European countries?
Huh? Especially white people visiting European countries?
Where I live, public schools had to start putting “Don’t photograph the children” on their gates, especially schools in beach towns on the Caribbean coast because the fucking tourists won’t stop taking pictures of the “cute little black kids”
It’s so great to be in England! Let’s go to a local school and surround ourselves with kids for a selfie so everyone can see how adorable the natives are! Isn’t it weird that they laugh too!? #universallanguage
I have no problem with people—white or otherwise—doing work like this. What I do hate (and something I saw a lot when I lived in Cape Town for 5 months) is when people take pictures with children and then post them on the internet. I only shared images of kids whose names I knew and who I actually developed…
The most cringe worthy for me was the mirror one. They have fucking mirrors in Africa Debra. Jesus. Trust me that kid has seen his reflection before.
What if the candidate does not agree with the people the party has chosen to run in the down ticket races? I can imagine that Bernie Sanders had very different people he wanted to see in a lot of races than DWS...how would that work if he was forced to support people he disagreed with and then ended up as head of the…
I’m always fascinated by how malleable many conservatives think a persons sexual orientation is.
i can only assume that you’re volunteering?
to be part of the population reduction, in case you missed that.
Yeah, but you’re not Samuel L. Motherfucking Jackson. Reality doesn’t reshape itself because it fears you, like it does for him.
To be fair, most people over 50 or so still think all animated movies are for children. I’ve tried to get my dad interested in The Incredibles and Up and his eyes just kind of glaze over. There’s just too much cognitive dissonance involved.
Are you implying that Dances with Space Wolves is somehow unoriginal?
His point of view is obvious and I have empathy for his feeling, but it’s pretty rich to hear even an implied criticism of being derivative in character or plot from the guy who not only made Avatar, but is prematurely extending it out for another 4 movies.
the big surprise of Han Solo being killed is seen coming a mile away as soon as Leia and Han start talking about how great the good old days were Harrison Ford asked to be killed in 1981.
Yeah, but he also had to lump in the 3 prequels in there, which cheapens his criticism of this new film. He’s an old filmmaker defending his friend who is also an old filmmaker, not just an objective observer.
Unlike Avatar and Titanic which were both full of new stories and themes.
Ah, it has begun. Hopefully we can get a glimpse of every single scene before the movie actually premieres.
I don’t think the problem is that it’s unfunny, but what it implies.
SCOTUS rule was something really important for women’s autonomy and health, and in the Twitt those same women stopped being subjects of the ruling and became passive objects to be used by the assumed readers (women still watch TDS!). It also…
Bee and Oliver are like Jon Stewart was split into two people like an old Star Trek episode... But somehow stronger instead of being a creepy rapist and a 1960s idea of a woman.
Even though Trevor Noah probably didn’t have anything to do with the tweet, this post still reminds me of how downhill the show has gone since John Stewart left. It’s cringe inducing.
