God, this guy is a moron. How did he even get this job? What is Proko.com? Other than that, he worked at “Filip Miucin Media.” There are tons of people with legit experience as real journalists who would have salivated at the opportunity to be a games editor, people who have interned or freelanced for YEARS. Did they

It’s a good story write-up. Just kind of sad that Kotaku rejected my pitches about this cafe over the past few months, then wrote about it. Oh well.

I pitched this story multiple times to Kotaku when they opened four months ago and was ignored every time. Oh well, at least now the cafe is getting the publicity it has always deserved.

Yaaay! I’m glad you were able to get a new PSU, that’s the one annoying part of PC building— spending hours putting it together just for it not to turn on. But it’s so satisfying when you finally troubleshoot it and get it on for the first time. Probably the second most annoying thing is cutting a finger on one of the

Ahhh Fahey! You’re so cool. I’m guessing the Watermelon Red is the closest to a pink version (still loving that Razer Quartz setup in the background.) :D

Love MMO junkie, it’s the number one best ever. :D

I was scared too, but closed-loop kits like the ones by Corsair are great for beginners. I’ve banged them around lots when building or doing repairs and they always turn out ok.

This is so great! Ahhh I can’t wait to see what you think. I always love reading your blogs and am excited to see what you think of PC building. Once you start, you’re never gonna want to go back to consoles (except for the occasional JRPG exclusive on PS4 or Switch) :)

I like to spend the entire time in GTA V hailing taxis instead of stealing cars :D

Ah, the grey lady. They have always seemed vastly out of touch with gaming/gamers. Like the article where they blamed mass unemployment on gaming, as if people (specifically, men according to them) have the luxury to just choose to play games instead of work. It couldn’t have anything to do with the crazy competition

I’m really kind of sad that nobody except NBC covered the mini-riot, I was hoping that if the media got wind of what happened, Nintendo would have to make some changes to ensure people’s safety. I was there and I read on reddit that those same shady guys (it was an organized group of about 30 guys who bum rushed the

The launch did not go well at Nintendo NY yesterday and it got violent. A group of 30 shady looking guys suddenly showed up in one big group and shoved their way into the line. Fans who had been waiting overnight got angry and people started screaming at each other. We all tried to tell the store managers what was

Alan!!! I’m really going to miss you. Lifehacker is my favorite blog to read every day, and it won’t be the same without you.

Love this article! I highly recommend the SNES30. Wireless makes it great for living room gaming, and it’s compatible with so many systems. I’ve used it to game on Android, Wii U, PC, Mac, and Retron 5 (had a bit of trouble pairing with iOS). Will have to try the Buffalo Classic next!

Hi Alan! I just wanted to thank you for doing this weekly desktop showcase. I always get so excited when Wednesday rolls around and I can change my desktop to something beautiful and refreshing. It’s a tiny thing that always makes the whole week better, so thanks. :)

Thank you so much for reposting this, it really made my day! I wanted to respond earlier, but I was in surgery yesterday. As I woke up all groggy from the anesthesia, my fiancee was like, “Hey guess what, you’re on Lifehacker!” I was like “...what? Where am I? Is this real life?” Hahaha :P

You are the coolest person ever! If I ever have kids, I’d love to name them after EB characters! :D
