@dsh: So I can't consider a negative result of proof of inaccuracy and thus usefulness? That's obviously rhetorical.

as a man who is 5'10" and 190lbs, I'm classified as overweight. However, I only have a 33" waist and anyone who has ever met me would have a hard time considering me overweight. So, it's easy for me to say that not only is BMI bogus, it is useless in terms of determining a single persons "fat" level.

I can appreciate that a number of people aren't fans of the caps lock key and rarely (if ever) use it. However, as someone who works in the architecture field, this key is integral to the operation of our business. I could be rude and argue that you should work on your typing skills instead of griping over it's

@TunaFish: You could try Boxee as well, which is a personal favorite. If you want to rock some broadcast TV, you'll have to consider MythTV or another PVR app. Boxee has install instructions on their website.

@wewillchange: Everyone has their preferences. Netbooks are obviously not meant for resource intensive tasks, but as a majority of the world doesn't do much more than some word processing and email on their computers, they just prove that there isn't a need for excessive power. Factor in the portability and reduced

So THIS is why they blocked the Boxee App. And no Linux? Shame on you Hulu, shame, shame.

why not just CTRL+PRINT SCREEN? You just paste it into whatever photo program you want a crop away...

I'd anticipate you could do the same and cut MythTV down to only do the DVR and then go to the XBMC link

@meigwil: I agree with you. Having successfully used a screw to open a bottle of wine once, using a wood screw. And unsuccesfully once, using a metal screw. As for why? I'm a single bachelor... I have plenty of tools and screws, but few cooking utensils.

I've used zimbra as my email server for quite a while now and have been very happy with it. The desktop version (offline version) has been in development for a long time, and typically buggy from my experience. I have not tried this release, however. I use outlook at work and zimbra at home and have generally

You're missing a major option.. my company has a wellness program that is really just a health screening that we were forced to participate in. Fortunately, my objection to being forced to participate was well received and I was not required to give my information to a third party that I knew nothing about.

No.

it's not actually the entire movie, but it's still great.

I'm not sure it's intended to be an HTPC as if you read the article it calls it a 200 dollar pc and even aknowledges some issues if used as an HTPC. Windows vs Linux is a user choice, but considering it is low specs, I would recommend Linux. If you do go HTPC, Mythbuntu is a very easy to install version of MythTV
