Not a car company exactly but Ducati has a branch that makes electronics components (actually it predates the motorcycles), and used to make actual consumer goods like radios. I occasionally encounter their capacitors at work.

My E39 528i. Had it for six years, and while I save money by working on it myself it’s cost me no more in parts or left me stranded any more times than any other used car I’ve owned. It’s currently sitting pretty at 274k miles, and while it’s definitely on the way out it’s got some life left in it.

I agree that it doesn’t fit the nameplate history but also at the same time how could they not use the Lightning name on an EV truck

That’s called a SLAPP suit, and over half of states have laws to protect people from them. My state, for example, allows the defendant to submit an expedited motion to dismiss and will order a reimbursement of their legal fees. I guess it’d come down to where Oppo is physically hosted.

We’re not profiting of anything posted on Oppo or Hyphen, so we have a stronger defense against property theft litigation.
