My odo reading is a bit of a bragging point for me so I don’t necessarily want it private.

I’ve been through a drive-through in a race-prepped rally car.
As a general rule, for every 1 good looking car Bertone designs, they make about 10 abominations.
In addition to the $86 million in civil penalties, Volkswagen agrees to strict injunctive terms as part of the settlement, including:
Did you know Ford still does the keypad entry?
They will also probably need to create a small department just two handled the buy backs. Pay for those people and the specialized technicians should reimbursed by VW rather than come out of the dealerships coffers.
Dealers should at the very least be able to charge VW for the labor that they’ll be putting in to applying the fix to customer’s cars. All those vehicles that will be flooding in for a free fix are going to massively detract from the actual profitable work that their service departments can do.
This sounds like a topic Torch would have written about.
Why is this more newsworthy than any other cyclist death? Are we trying to implicate the bike sharing program or something?
Funny story, I was watching this on my phone and I accidentally hit the lock screen button and when I opened it back up the video started playing at double speed and now Torch sounds like a chipmunk.
It’s awesome and all, but that’s a lot of work and money for a 40hp gain.
I need to have a word with whomever thought that grille was OK to put on a production car.
Of course the three most historical british marques are german owned...
Wouldn’t Britain be free to follow their own safety and emissions standards if they leave the EU? That sounds like it could be very detrimental to automakers who suddenly have to invest in making cars in compliance with a whole new market.
I wonder why it is that Le Mans became the big race of the year vs. all the other endurance events.
Torch, I have an odd question. Is the boxer 4 used in the Porsche 356 based at all on the VW boxer engine? Like, same mounting points and bellhousing and all that?
Can’t forget this gem:
Stupid corporate greenwashing
Wow two Demuro articles in one week what a treat
