what do you use?

Different generations, socioeconomic groups, etc use facebook in different ways. My facebook is very political, very open-minded, mostly young but not quite. I post my views all the time and sometimes I get messages from people I haven't spoken to in years. I had no idea they were even reading my posts. Things like,

Y'all be adding the wrong people. Just sayin'

Post your music videos. Who cares? Maybe some people do listen. You'd be surprised at the amount of creeping people do.

What does she post? That seems kind of rude though...

I also want to note that some of the commentary is really telling of age and what kind of demographic people fall into. Different groups of people use facebook differently. My facebook is full of different experiences, cheesy as it sounds, fairly representative of the human spirit. If someone has a shit day, they post

How old are you?

I don't agree with most of what I've read, comments or not. I love facebook. I'm one of those sociable hermits that loves the internet. I have internet friends, I have "IRL" friends, the inbetweens that I don't see for years. People that are now all over the world. I love looking at their pictures, seeing their lives

How to ensure I never have a life ever again?

Lifehacker, you guys are on point lately. Every post is gold. I miss the favourites option...And now no more springpad ;). Resorted to pinteresting useful articles!

Oh mon dieu, of course I missed this. I was off galavanting on beaches, priding myself for disconnecting with the internet.

Wow, the art in this looks amazing.

Her sketch beforehand is hardly terrible. It requires the slightest modicum of skill to draw more than stick figures, I've seen some terrible art. Some people can barely draw circles. However, points for Idris Elba, lady. All the points.

Ugh, and creepiest/worst scene from Love Actually up there. Yeah, stalker dude!

Black and white is the way to go.

I'm dying to watch Hubble 3D in Imax again. Just. Fantastic.

I agree! I'm going to say Generation X and my generation, the older Millenials, are ever the helicopter parents. They shield their children from everything. I was, I admit, shielded from many sexually related things as a child, more so than the youth of today who are bombarded with sexuality from every corner

I completely agree! When the series ended, I was 17 or so. I'm 25, still a huge fan. I don't know how with Harry Potter younger children are now. They were all about the Twilight or something, when Harry Potter was ending. But all the superfans I know would have certainly been old enough to handle this.

I've just given in to Google. They own me. I google something about a sports game, suddenly I have updates on my phone about every score imaginable. I remember when I gave up Firefox hesitantly for Chrome, all those long years ago. And now I get angry at other browsers. I've tried so many of them, but they never sit

My dad can barely turn a computer on, but he knows how to watch Netflix on the laptop because I bookmarked it for him. I bought my parents an apple TV, set everything up for them- even setup American Netflix up for them- but he's somehow messed it all up. They're a plane ride away so...on the laptop it is, for now.
