Yes, but that's by choice. I think if comics are going to represent Islam (in that particular form) they should do it correctly or not create misunderstandings. Muslim women come in different shapes, colours and of course, have different choices. I mean, I suppose if they are trying to normalize her, that's cool. It's

Right! It was like a skin tight abaya or something wasn't it? I also think she was heavily sexualized, vis a vis Orientalist fantasies.

These characters have a lot of problems. They need to have actual Muslims draw this stuff. Like below, why are her arms showing? People don't wear hijabs but then have short sleeves.

Always.

Can I get one for 1.99?

I do this too, in my sleep. If only I could do more useful things while asleep.

I need them to make an app that will (or arrange for someone to) physically wake me up, get me out of bed and also have breakfast ready for me.

Yeah, animals are the next issue.

This is a fun craft. I wouldn't use it for liquid though. Might be interesting for kosher salt or something, though.

I'm sure we can find one somewhere...

I find logos to be hideous and tacky, often placed awkwardly. But I don't know if I would do this. Hmm.

Should I watch Being Human? I always ask this but it's further along now and that trailer didn't look half bad. I watched, and loved the UK one for the first few seasons. Until I stopped watching. I watched the US one for a few episodes...I don't know if I was as big of SyFy fan then, though. I'm more comfortable with

The only thing I don't like about this show is Sarah's faux-accent. It's terrible. But otherwise, the show is quite riveting.

I can't watch it. I just can't.

Doesn't one of them kill somebody?

I think when what was his name, Conrad? When he left I was pretty pissed, not just because he was the show's only diversity. The show seemed to change after that. And from what I remember the kids become pretty effed, right? Sigh.

Never seen that. I think you can watch shows with unlikeable characters but in those cases they're so unlikeable that you like them? I don't know. I don't watch shows where I appear to hate everyone. Maybe why I can't get into Downton Abbey.

Me too. I thought he became awful when they started dating. And in season 3, too, I think. When he was just trouble, angsty Logan...much better.

Merlin, BBC.

Yeah, but it was done terribly. She was the most awful villian ever. It came out of nowhere, first, very little buildup, and second, they could have made her a complex, anti-hero like Morgana has been portrayed in many versions (from books). But no, she became this annoying, smirking, out of nowhere evil lady.
