Cecilia,
Cecilia,
Kind of sad to hear. I was a vanilla wow player when it was live, got very excited when I found out about Nostalrius. I installed it and was enjoying it. I did get some Vanilla-feels but then the reality of how much of a grind vanilla was set in. The party spam, whacky guilds and party snobs all came back to me.
As for my tastes I think they change with the seasons. Over the colder months of winter, I seem to gravitate towards fantasy games and the like. Older cRPG’s, MMO’s and ARPG’s like the Souls series. For the warmer months I usually tend to like sci-fi games that are faster moving. Space sims such as Elite was my drug…
A few times in my MMO playing tenure did I ride an new game from closed beta into open beta then into full release. Never again.
It’s done when it’s done. Take your time and no need to rush it.
Politics are part of every workplace environment I’ve been in. I worked in small offices and huge boardrooms with over 150 screaming stockbrokers. Everyone wants to feel like a special snowflake and that they are .0002% more important than the guy next to him. I’m in a small internet marketing company and it’s even…
Ya-know...that is a good question. Along with the regular weekend chores/errands etc. I want to finish reading Stephen Kings Bazaar of Bad Dreams. That’s this weekends big goal.
I’d pay a whole lot of money for that. You were reading my mind when you wrote this post right?
Well put, very well put. Think his woes goes across many FPS’s. I played the original Team Fortress and dealt with many of the same issues he sung about. Seems that some things never change.
Other than regular donations and subs he does not collect money for streaming.
I’m subbed to Happy Hobbit. Just the night I decide to take off watching to spend some time with the old lady, he decides to PB on Gwyn. In-credible! Congrats Hobbit! You are the best Dark Souls player worldwide in my book.
I lost a lot of faith in Funcom after The Secret World. That company had one job to do: Anarchy Online 2. But nope! They went down the Tornquist rabbithole with TSW. Granted, it’s not an absolute terrible game, but not up to snuff with todays heavy MMO standards.
I have a big prediction for you...
All milk in the fridge games. Good read for the uninitiated.
