Its highlights were: carved upon stone social classes, prohibition of sex work, demonization of homosexuality, merging of State and religion, among other factors that made Game of Thrones a super conservative show. Maybe a must for High Fantasy stories?

I could name a few elements: societies are conservatives to an extreme, weapons are ubiquitous, there is a carved on stone unequal class system, same sex relationships are demonized… Having said that, I should add that I tried to read the first book of the saga and got bored to tears after 200 odd pages of clumsy…

It doesn't harm me personally, it harms books, films, series, etc. by driving people into think that plot is such an important thing (and for some: everything, which of course is far from being the case). Having said that and being an author myself, well, I think spoiler warnings harm me too.
