Aww, man... what a disappointment. Reading the title, I thought "chatbot" meant he really didn't have to speak to her since the bot had a custom database of responses to keep her busy for hours.

With the right masking (to cover non-painted parts and to direct paint flow), i can see this as a pretty cool paintjob for a VW Bug.

But now HP/Palm can sue because people might confuse the whole cheese cutting thing with the Pre.

I am surprised that there were all positive reactions to a WebOS article. I hesitated reading it at first because I though for sure everyone was gonna talk shit like "WebOS who?". Glad to see that there a several of us excited to see what HP will wow us with next week.

@bingbingma: Wait, what? Honeycomb on the new PSP2?

Pandora was the most amazing thing since sliced bread once... but, it seems to play too many songs that don't fit the bill (my bill, to be precise). One of the stations I listen to the most is "old school hip hop". I automatically thumb down anything post-1992ish. Yet it keeps insisting on playing 2Pac, 50 Cent and

I call shenanigans... From the second photo, it's obvious they have been to a movie theater before.

@CaptainJack: Teens take blocks of ice and slide down hills on the golf course I currently work at and others as well.

@Jackgoff: Just as that thought crossed my mind, rope at 0:54.

@mgrdcm: I'm in the same boat; two years into my 4 year ext warranty. My 720p plasma is starting to show signs of screen burn, but it's only an annoyance at this point. I'll wait till 1 month before it expires unless it gets really bad. My ext warranty was only $159 though.

Never, ever, ever "loan" someone money. Even if you don't expect to get it back, some small part of you will still expect repayment. Just like giving a birthday or christmas present, giving someone a monetary "gift", you won't expect it to be returned. If you expect any level of reciprocity, it's not truly a gift.

Wait a minute, I came up with a completely random mix of words to point out that if something is too new or doesn't exist, you can't really blame the search engine until enough searching for the phrase is done.

Up next, the newest sensation to be used in EVERY FRACKIN hit pop song....

OHH NO!!! Four Loko will kill y... Wait, what? $2.49 a can, that's not too bad.

@Tommy Five: Honestly, I can say that I have not been on her end of the line for the longest time. So, I don't live with that boiling hatred of telemarketers. I just find it funny, that after she gets her "prize" from a marketing promotion, she will continue to hate marketers with a passion.

I wouldn't have felt one ounce of pity for her if she had lost the opportunity. As much as we all hate commercialism (although evidentially not as much as her), promotions and prizes are meant to lure consumers towards a product. If she hates being advertised to, she could have easily turned down advertising money.

The fact that it is made up of so many repeating words or terms for molecules makes it "meh". Maybe the rules for the longest word should include some rules that base words can only be used so many times or they have to been publish x number of times. In all actuality, this word is gonna be in the vocabulary

The way I prevent confusion where everyone else has the exact same thing, is to not have the exact same thing. Problem solved.

@Unicorn Man: Porting your number is no different than using the number that you can choose when starting GV. It just serves to never have to port it again if you switch carriers or companies.

@pbjelly: 1) depends how you place the actual call. With my Evo and Google Voice, everytime I dial a number it asks if I want to make the call with GV or without. If I choose without, my Sprint number shows on caller ID, if I choose with, my GV number shows.
