Then you’re using it for truck stuff. It’s not truck-hate, it’s wanting truck-reasonableness. Most of the F250's on up I see don’t have a hitch, but I do see plenty of Punisher-skull-but-it’s-stars-and-stripes-but-it’s-also-made-of-guns stickers, and one of those on earth is too many.

I think we should have multiple tiered licenses. It’s also amazing to me that the same certification I got 28 years ago allows me to drive anything from a Versa to the big UHaul to a lifted bro-dozer to a Veyron to a motorhome actually longer than my house. That’s nuts.

There is zero chance a 200 hp car can accelerate to 116 mph in a residential neighborhood.

It's alot harder to hit 116 in a 30mph zone in a car with 200 hp

I came to post the same thing. I expect it will take a 100+ MPH crash into a school bus before that becomes an honest conversation in any law house. It’s also wild that a (legally defined) child can legally operate a car that hits 60 MPH in under 3 seconds before they can smoke, vote, or drink.

I say this as someone who likes driving fast, who owns fast cars, and who is generally skeptical of adding more bureaucracy to our lives:

The 6 cyclists’ attorneys have a good write-up about the accident and how they’re proceeding.

Also available next spring. The Lexus LC 2x12 Combo Amp, with start/stop hybrid technology and custom Lex-Us-Rock™ grill.

Came for this. Not enough stars. Fuck the Jeep mythos.

Well Toyota always made the better off road vehicle.

Take water fording for example. Which of these is rated for deeper water fording?

This is just not true. Volkswagen has repeatedly said the Model Y and Mach E are NOT the competition they’re aiming for. But people continue to fabricate that they did. I’m not saying don’t compare them. But to flat out lie saying Volkswagen sees them as their competition is disingenuous, and bad journalism.

When Haiti has a better electrical grid than your state, the arguments that you’re not a “failed state” KINDA go out the window...

This kid needs a baseball bat to the knees.

I used to love to ride. Got hit by a car where the lady tried to claim she had the right of way (she was turning to her left directly in front of me and I had no stop sign or light or anything) and I sold my bike. I love it, but not worth getting mangled or leaving my kids with no father.

Yup. I hit the same trail every weekend. I can get almost 50 miles in with barely any contact with cars except parking lots and a few stop signs along the trail. Sure it’s not the most exciting ride after a year of this but after all the close calls I got during the pandemic (since apparently no one is paying

Yeah I was going to write a comment how its not worth the dangers of riding on the road but these folks were training ironman so how else would they do it.

Texas is a failed state. I’m sooo incredibly sick of these fucking idiots being allowed to pull this shit. ENOUGH. To bad he was allowed to walk away from the scene.

As a fellow cyclist, this is why I’m starting to avoid road biking. Luckily I have a bike trail near my house, but I don’t trust drivers anymore. Either they are distracted or assholes to cyclists. No need to try to kill cyclists since they are making you to get somewhere slower. We take up the lane for our safety.

I know, right? It’s the difference between a slightly longer compact SUV and a midsize SUV. Or Rav4 to Highlander. Escape to Explorer. CR-V to Pilot.
