The children are so vulnerable here because of their age. If something bad had happened to the parents, they are immediately in danger, completely unable to help themselves. That's what I find appalling.

To boot, the people in the video aren't even talking about the bible, are they? They're talking about the altered artistic renditions of bible stories with which they are most familiar. Some days I just can't do stupid.
Oh don't even worry about the Holy Ghost, he was useless. Just runs around with a sheet over his head.
"Anyone who demands her best friends pony up for $400 bachelorette parties and $300 bridal showers and $250 hair and makeup and $200 heels and $200 wedding gifts should maybe examine the possibility that she is, in fact, kind of a monster. " not to mention the Bridesmaids and groomsmen thing is so cheesy. The bad…
I've turned down 4 weddings this year alone for this reason. Additional charges apply if the wedding is across the country and you will have to buy a $400+ plane ticket, plus dress, plus gift, plus party costs. My friends know that I love them but I am flat broke and several states away.
The entire concept of a wedding is wholly unappealing to me. I hate attention and I have no family. I'd rather save the money and go on an amazing honeymoon.
I feel like most if not all of his brain probably believes he is innocent... ... I do not believe his brain is correct.
It could be argued that sexually harassing someone at random to show sexual harassment is wrong might be the wrong way to go about raising awareness. You're either 1) making the assumption that men won't be bothered by it, or 2) you're intentionally causing them to suffer emotionally so you can make your point that…

My friend's grandmother (who sadly passed away this week) was the absolute BEST at this. Stoic, New England, old money, and just a hoot.
This is supposed to be cute, but in fact it's my worst nightmare, because there's nothing worse than being trapped in an enclosed space and subjected to talent.
That would be MUCH better. Personally, I would prefer it if they had let the mother live (I'm kind of ok with Barney and Robin divorcing, though it definitely could have been handled better). But if they were going to insist on going with the ending they picked back in season 2 (according to Alan Sepinwall at…
"To be honest, I kinda regret the whole thing...including your existence."
I just wanted to say, this is quickly becoming one of my all-time favorite features. And thanks for this one: I'm having a bad time in life right now, & all of these stories really brightened my day. (Until they made me completely lose what little faith I had left in humanity. Which is temporary: I always forget so…
Never been so happy to return to my bussing days as the last time I did my restaurant a favor and picked up an extra buss shift that they desperately needed filled... two older ladies, one very elderly, came in, asked for a table. Moved three times before they found one they really liked. Always a good start!
The instant a customer lays a finger on an employee in anger like that, all bets are off. Someone did that to me ONCE when I was working in the Apple Store and my managers (who didn't even like me all that much) went apeshit on him. It's just not acceptable.
I had the pleasure if working at a variable factory for these kinds if stories. One of my favorites:
Me: "Hello sir. I gather that there's been a problem with your order. Can I help?"
