If that's happening I'm going to have to insist Vince Vaughn be involved.

Dude, I’ll do you one better. The my partner and I got out of the car at the supermarket and the pickup across from where we parked had a GIGANTIC Confederate flag across the back window. We were in Northampton, MA (aka rainbow unicorn, liberal as fuck, Lesbianville, USA). My lovely partner (who is African American

If you’re in Maine there’s no reason to drink Sam Adams. Get yourself some Allagash, Sebago, Shipyard etc. Maine beer forevaaah. ;)

Sinful lesbian yogurt ...

Shhhhhhh! Our lez agenda couched in dairy product ads appears to be working!

Kind of off topic, but the phrase “deny the peach crayon” struck me as hilarious. I feel like it should be proclaimed, “I deny the peach crayon!!” I must be getting punchy.

This smug, self-serving recitation of “race is a construct” by this woman is sickening. Lady, this isn't a hall pass for cultural appropriation.

The suing Howard thing is just so above and beyond.

Absolutely romantic. Love it.

Yeah, that doesn’t hold water.

Oh, please sweet baby Jesus. Please let this come to pass!

For what it’s worth, even if it is true that we’re moving toward a society where the majority of people are multiracial (which would take many generations), this does NOT mean racism will vanish and that people will not be discriminated against based on their phenotypic appearance.

As someone who is in an interracial relationship with an adult transracial adoptee your comments are well taken. Transracial adoption is complex and requires a great deal of preparation and cultural competence. We are years away from adopting but already are trying to grow and learn to be better transracially adoptive

Interesting (I say this genuinely). My partner is adopted and she/we plan to foster, adopt, or foster to adopt. Her experience as an adopted person has been far from smooth to put it generously. I believe it’s motivated her to have a family through adoption. It's a good reminder to me (duh) of how deeply personal

You're being sarcastic about the less cute thing right? And the need for wealthy adoptive parents?

It’ll be better with a bell.

Well, I’m all for self-identification but it does suggest the girl is queer or bisexual.

“ ... but having a bisexual girlfriend is what my circle of friends call girlfriend-plus.”

Also, Estée Lauder might have a reputation for being grandma make up but they have some fab-ass products. And yeah, my Mimi used to use their Day Wear moisturizer and so do I. Either way — dewy and gorgeous skin. Whatever, I'll never be a cool kid.

That's pretty fucking traumatic. Yikes girl!
