I’m not sure I see how the touchscreen delete saves weight.  They still have the same slab there with electronics in it.  That’s a lot of functionality to give up if they ended up saving less than a pound or what not.

I have two manual cars that I wanted my wife to be able to drive and enjoy, so I bought a manual ND Miata for her to practice on, since she refused to do it on our existing cars.

How does this not meet CDC guidance? I’m confused. CDC just says that the mask needs to be two layers or more and this is a three-layer mask. The only masks they’re against right now seems to be gaiters and face shields.

I love this car. My friend had one and let me drive it 300 miles, from SD to Palm Springs and back a couple years ago. The car only had 200 miles on it when it was put into my hands. Everything about the 4C is visceral. You can hear the brake pads sliding on the rotors and solenoids clicking away, controlling boost.

He already wrecked this one--it’s pretty easily bypassed.

Does this mean I’ll stop seeing your Lexus SC video promoted at the top of the Jalopnik page every day?

How sad to have to get rid of a lovely P1800s because of that problem! For Boxsters, Porsche developed rear drain protector screens you could buy to keep leaves out of the convertible top drain holes. I wonder if something like this exists for the P1800s, or whether this solution has been adapted by others in the

These cheapo microfiber towels are the worst—they shed plastic fibers like crazy, which not only makes a mess but is terrible for the environment.  If folks don’t want to use paper towels, they should stick to natural fiber rags.

Kinda BS comparison. You’re not going to find an NA in that condition for $5000. That is a beautiful NA, probably worth three times that. Perhaps pedantic, but I wish they would’ve compared an average NA on the market, not the Best of the Best that hardly anyone’s going to find.

Interior quality is about what you’d expect for its price point I think. The seating position is fine, if you’re the type that likes sitting in a chair while driving—many people don’t like a more raked position. The thing is, the Fiat is so tall versus wide that it does feel a bit nervous in turns to be sitting that

The original vented seats in the 987 Boxster didn’t use any mechanism for cooling the air, they just blew cabin air at your back and butt. The effect is better than you’d expect—the point is that it gets air circulated to your back, rather than having your body heat (and any heat accumulated in the seat cover)

Man, is there a way to get the BRZ tS without the stupid wing? Other than that, it’s a justifiable entry. The wing just looks like a garbage afterthought.

I win this one. Back in 2005 I bought the official Porsche travel umbrella for $75. It was designed to fit in the little useless pocket on the right side of my 987S. I live in SoCal and so this is pretty unnecessary. But what makes it the dumbest thing ever, is that the handle is coated in the same rubber that all

Totally with you. It feels over-wrought. At least it’s the right market for it, it looks like someone took a Ferrari and tried to make it “JDM tite, yo!”

It really shows how subjective styling is. I far prefer the standard 488 to this one.

The early F1 transmission’d coupes of this era suffer a lot of hydraulic failures. It’s like $8000 to repair. I wouldn’t go near one of these with your money, let alone my own. And one with a bad title? Nooooooooo waaaaaaaaaay.

My wife. She keeps me from modding it. This is the best tool for its longevity.
