@Tetsuooooooo: You don't have to do that if you don't want to. No one forces you to use google accounts with an Android phone or a MobileMe account with an iphone.

@technomom1: I don't know, they don't tend to admit UI mistakes and copy from the oposition. I thought this would happen with ios4 and the ipad. It's amazing how dated it feels, just like the old dumb phones that also had rows of icons

@CIM: really?? that was the thing I hated most about my iphone. screens of 4x4 icons that all look the same and make it impossible to find anything. I was shocked when the ipad was announced and they kept that part. I think it's the worst thing about the iphone OS.

CORRECTION: It wasn't until long ago that the iphone got turn by turn navigation. My IPAQ 6915 winmo phone had it long before the first iphone even came out.

I really wish these google voice numbers were considered mobile numbers, I don't care which carrier since their all free with sprint

@salviati: I don't think there's a different number, I think it's just like calling your google voice number and then dialing the number you want to reach. The way you can program dumber phones to use google voice. so that access number should be on your friends list (just like a calling card).

The reason they didn't shoot the entire dark night with the IMAX cameras was their size. If the camera rigs are better now maybe they can do it.

Choose tmobile? they won't choose tmobile. as soon as the at&t deal is up, you'll see the iphone on all carriers (as long as they are willing to pay the kick backs at&t is paying)

@YouISee: so far it looks like WP7 will follow the iphone's lead in a lot of ways (too much control over the app market for example). This is what really bothered me when I was an iphone user, I don't have that problem since I switched to Android.
