I feel like I may be happy with some middle ground in there. I of course prefer Obama's dignified approach, but I think I'd also like to see some anger expressed.

Yeah, I know it's supposed to be "cool" for some to toss out jokes during a tragedy, but come on, people. There's been silly pop music since forever, whether you like it or not. Though I know the internet is built on anonymous people being terrible.
Let's not start suggesting some angry group of misogynists are jumping to being mass murderers. Not until they actually do something like that.
You can argue that they are responsible, in that they and their kind inspire people to do it. It's really the way that they are adapting to get around security measures and immigration policies, etc. They may not be able to pull off another 9/11 kind of thing, but you can just recruit people living in those countries…
I wouldn't put it past these sick people. I suppose they could've targeted any large venue. Though I say "they" as if this person was under orders. He's likely just "inspired" like so many others.
Come on, there must've been some non-white rich people in the mix.
I really wish that this was the worst news of the day.
I just feel like the only thing that episode about Trump's taxes did was to give ammunition to conservative Trump-lovers for making fun of her.
I'll admit that since I don't watch her regularly, the only time I pay attention is when she ends up in the news herself. So It's possible I'm not the best judge.
Something about her personality just rubs me the wrong way. I think she reminds me of Keith Olbermann, as they both have the outraged, "how could anyone possibly disagree with me" attitude that gets on my nerves. But I don't really like any of these commentators.
My problem with watching almost any kind of political folks on TV is that their shows are just preaching to the choir. In most cases when people say "I love [political commentator]!" it means that they love the person that they agree with about everything.
It makes me sort of sad that fans of these people are somehow expected to keep track of their "feuds." Hurts my brain.
Well, I'm not saying he isn't a piece of shit…
I don't mind speaking ill of the dead. Why not? But for some reason I can't really get myself to be happy someone's dead. Other than maybe some particularly horrible murderer or a terrorist.
I think Selina has no delusion over the kind of cutthroat people that Amy and Dan are. She knows Richard is sincere, and either assumes Amy isn't or just really can't tell.
Yeah, that comes up often and is here, I think more of a commentary on that sort of thing in general. Someone looking at it through a different perspective could think it a reference to the often-mocked line from Nancy Pelosi about reading the Obamacare bill after it passes. (No arguments or analysis of that line…
I imagine some younger viewers of this show asking, "Why is the room red? What are those pictures doing in the water? Why aren't they just printing them?"
One thing I think it's easy to overlook when watching this show, since viewers are always going to sympathize with the show's protagonists no matter what kind of person they really are. But getting Paige involved in all this is a terrible thing to do, though Philip and Elizabeth don't see that quite as clearly given…
I forgot he was in that movie. His line here may actually be a funny little reference to that.
The entire Cold War was filled with stories of the two countries stealing technology from each other. I'm sure much of the time that was bullshit propaganda.
