Goldmember was worth a few laughs, but mostly leans too far into parodying the series itself. And the character of Goldmember seems to have been created just out of some obligation for Myers to play yet another character in the series. I recall when seeing it in the movie theater that the biggest laugh — early on in

Yet another Austin Powers article on the site that tells us that the author was apparently inundated and nearly suffocated by people quoting the movie and trying to be funny. I guess I never experienced this because I still love the movie. It's just funny, sometimes clever and sometimes really dumb, but in a good way.

Yes, but with those examples, the guys are rich and famous. Big difference. Not saying the women are all gold diggers, but the guy's popularity, success, etc are a far cry from Ray's lot in life.

Seeing that I was kind of surprised to see something from Hollywood really ripping into women activists on college campuses.

I'm sorry, but… it's just too much Trump. Even if you absolutely despise Trump, do you want all of your comedy dominated by making fun of him?

Oh, look. Another one of those articles that talks dismissively about something popular years ago, and telling us that it's worn out its welcome. I wasn't aware I was supposed to be over liking Austin Powers. Just cuz the sequels weren't as good doesn't mean the original isn't still funny.

Given that this girl is committed to such a geeky pursuit, it's pretty much guaranteed she's named after Harley Quinn, right?

Yes, in some cases, having kids makes you stop being a cold-hearted bastard.

Perfect Strangers isn't a award-winning show, but I always thought it was the funniest of the TGIF era of shows. Definitely underrated, though like many shows it falls apart towards the end. At least, the two leads play off each other very well, and were very good with the physical comedy.

I think it's no where near as bad as Full House, or some of the more forgettable "TGIF" shows.

I usually love everything about this show, but I agree that it was just a bit "off." Some of the characters' narcissism and incompetence seems to have been taken too far and we're just seeing them all just act stupid.

I generally don't like these articles, because too many are someone way outside of the music's target audience spedning way too much time trying explain why they don't like something… BUT… I will say I don't understand this weird new trend that Trainor is a part of. Singing in a silly voice. Like, not just singing

Oh, I don't expect them to not mention it. And their live broadcast is something they have to take advantage of. But it just seems like EVERY show needs to focus on Trump constantly. I suppose it makes sense to do it, but I guess I'm more saying, I would like to on occasion NOT have to hear about Trump. Comedy Central

This strange belief that many people have — and that our fearless reviewer seems to have sometimes — that all comedy must constantly "fight the power" is becoming crazy. Where not only should you not like Trump, you must actively despise him and spend all efforts to mock him constantly. And get criticized if you don't.

I would give this one higher than a C. I have pretty much given up on the Tonight Show, and Fallon to be absolutely insufferable when he's doing that show. BUT, I did like him nuch better on SNL, because he did some funny sketch work. And here, I didn't mind him. I thought the show had enough laughs, and it was one of

I guess maybe it wasn't widely mentioned in any press or whatever, but Sandler loosely based the lead character on his own manager. He was on "Conan" recently and he talked about it, introduced the manager in the audience, and Conan actually knows the guy well, too. I presume that's reason it seems less vulgar and

Aren't some of those Twitter photos of him actually doctored to make him look even worse? There were some fake ones going around.

I never thought Daredevil was as bad as people say. It's certainly not a good movie, but it wasn't terrible. Though I admittedly really knew very little about the character/comic at the time.

Masters of the Universe! Even as a kid who enjoyed the cartoon and the toys, I realized it sucked. I still feel bad I got my father to take me to it.

I only caught some of The Last Airbender on TV. But, wow, what a terrible attempt to adapt a great show. You know something's gone wrong when they start pronouncing the main character's name incorrectly. On purpose.
