It's not that Obama isn't without flaw or anything, but he doesn't really have many goofy qualities or quirks to poke fun at. While I wasn't really a huge Obama fan, and I do think he could have been satirized a bit more on SNL, they would have had to maybe look for some real political items, and the show has never

I'm always happy to see Americans reminded that the British make shitty TV shows as well. We just usually see the best imports.

And I think it was somehow worse that she did a complete, instant 180 and change her mind. At least Barbara went nuts and stayed there. And I believe she was always shown as being a little unbalanced even at the start.

While I can appreciate McKinnon's singing and dancing, and the whole restaging of that musical number, it just wasn't very funny. I kinda feel like SNL has a bit of an obsession over Conway, since they seem to keep trying to find an angle to make fun of her.

I remember the Oscar joke. Wasn't it basically a joke that presumed everyone was familiar with her conservatism and appearances on Fox News? But really, most people didn't get it?

I've heard that the producers of the show found that their audience was getting younger, which is why the cuter, younger characters like Elmo became more prominent. The show is still a great kid's show, but missing is a lot of the jokes-for-adult-minds stuff it used to have. Though they still offer parodies of movies

RI is also helpful when discussing some of the world's tiny nations. "The entire country is barely bigger than Rhode Island!"

I do get annoyed at the people who want to get rid of the electoral college without really understanding it. But also, for some people you won't convince them of the idea of individual states having a say, as opposed to treating the country as one single group of citizens as opposed to an group of individual states.

Of course if you made it so electors vote for the popular vote winners, then you've pretty much mad the electoral college completely pointless. Personally, I prefer an amendment changing things over using loopholes to get around it.

I'm not sure if the electoral college should stay or go, but as a Massachusetts-ite I often do feel like a vote for anyone but a Democrat is complete waste of time.

So… Dax Shepard. I'm not sure who or what he really is. Like, in the last several years I feel like I have just somehow become aware of his existence, but can't quite recall how. Where did he come from? Was his number one claim to fame "I have acted in some things"? I realize in recent years he has become mostly known

CHiPS (I guess I have to type it that way) is definitely something worthy of parody. But I would've been more interested in this movie if it really WAS a parody. Ya know, making fun of tropes seen on the old show, laughing at the late '70s, etc. This is just another goofy, raunchy comedy that happens to have

This show has fallen prey to making a somewhat strong female character into and unhinged crazy person. The moment we learned Lee was marrying the son of a mob boss, she became a much stupider character. She supposedly had more integrity or morals than even Jim did, and the decision to stick with that guy is just a bad

Yes, but that can be said about practically every TV show, comic book story, etc. We know any lead character isn't going to die unless the series is about to end.

Since Jim was walking around free with no restrictions, I presume the cops all bought his story about what happened. They just skipped over explaining all that. Lee didn't believe his story because she thought she killed him on purpose.

Actually, I think I'd be even happier if he'd shut up.

“Hollywood is crawling with outsiders and foreigners, and if we kick them all out…"

Some people aren't annoyed by the opinion. Just the people who get award for their acting career and discuss politics when they accept it.

Man, that "guy living as a goat" bit really got me. They SHOULD be laughing, because I don't care what the reason is. That's just stupid.

Sounds like typical un-researched internet "journalism" that passes on incorrect details as fact. Not to sound pissy, but I'm pretty sure even the credits of the movie say who sang it. (And I'm not insulting you, but the people who got that wrong.)
