I'd say Tracy does seem a little different, but I don't think his personality has changed. He's not perfect, and may have slowed down a bit, but I think the same guy is there. Even so, that kind of experience may make you change somewhat, see things differently. I think some of that is at play, too.

So, we're still sticking with "urban" as a code word for "black"?

The other issue is that the people in charge are intent on using these three barely competent people on these missions, and seem to be in too much of a rush to care very much about how they do their job. So far, when they're told they've greatly changed history, those bosses just shrug it off.

I'm more talking about the people who actually do vote. People supposedly hate Congress, but there are members who get elected decade after decade.

A common opinion among voters seems to be, "Congress is terrible! But MY guy is good…"

I'm personally annoyed how the show has to add an extra little government conspiracy into the mix. It seems that networks now feel every show needs an ongoing mystery. Why not just some time travel adventuring?

I wish this show had the guts to be completely insane. After one episode, our main character returns to find she has a fiancee she doesn't know. They should've had her come back after the very next episode's adventure and NOT have a fiancee. Or have the guy now be Chinese. Go nuts!

He stood out in that Star Trek episode. He could've easily become a recurring character on the show.

That's bad enough to hear, but realizing she's 7 and seeing that cute picture of them together is just heartbreaking…

Yeah, maybe I should've quit while I was ahead… But it's not as if she's trying to take Beyonce's music and steal it in order to enter the music industry.

I haven't heard that about Shumer, so if that's what she does, screw her. But I feel like the cultural appropriation would apply here if she was a serious recording artist trying to copy Beyonce.

I'm not suggesting the concept is completely non-existent. It's just that I've lately seen it stretched too far.

Without "cultural appropriation" white people would still be listening to Frank Sinatra-style music. It's become an absurd notion. Where in the past we had our melting pot of cultures, now any form of expression can only be used by the race that originated it? And who's the racist person when someone watches that

Jesus H. Christ. No one's ever heard of parody? Of JOKING?

I think it's obviously Murray, but at first glance it looks like Hanks. Weird.

Never heard that one. Though that character is just Blofeld with Lorne Michaels' voice. As far as I can tell from various interviews over the years, every SNL cast member has a Lorne impression.

I do wonder if he is a jerk, a "diva", or if it's more that he is strange, introverted little man. He definitely seems to be uncomfortable on the few talk shows I've seen him on. I do wish Myers would come back and be funny again, as Wayne's World and at least two Austin Powers movies are really great. And his work on

I'm not really a fan, but I'm guessing he is kept on SNL because he's young and popular with the young? He only really seems to be funny on that show when he's on Weekend Update, essentially doing his stand up. Doesn't seem like much of an improvver.

I remember this being on when I was a youngster. I didn't watch the entire thing, but I remember switching back to it once in a while between other shows and commercial breaks. It was quite a joke at the time.

I was about to cleverly quote this line much to the amusement of other commenters. That scene partly works so well because those two actors generally put you at ease, usually playing decent people.
