No, not really. But I'm just talkin' out of my ass here, anyway. That's what internet comments are for.

Man, look a those assholes in the banner image…
I'm with Marah. It may be maligned, but I like Arby's roast beef sandwiches. It gets made fun of and insulted — largely I swear because of that Simpsons quote — but it still churns away. There's an Arby's a couple miles away from me that's been open for 30 years, and still gets a long line of cars during busy shopping…
Arby's curly fries must be here! I know you're supposed to be considered some kind of heathen by some for liking Arby's, but no matter what The Simpsons says, I love those fries. You can even buy them frozen at the supermarket, and if cooked right they are exactly the same as the real thing.
Potatoes? Who cares about that part? I mean it's obviously "junk food" but we're just talking about taste here.
That's probably what makes it good. And is it possible your store is the only one employing lazy slobs? I hope?
Yeah, bro… Get ready for the Dick Wolf, ladies! Woooo!!
Hee hee… C. Randall Poop…
True, that was coming back eventually. But I just hate the seemingly deliberate way they went back and messed around with many of the characters central to that series. Like sending a message saying, "No more fun! DARK!"
Someone did at least tell me that older Blue Beetle Ted Kord has been brought back as a supporting player in the new Blue Beetle's series.
Many of these are about funny names, but I always thought the G.I. Joe name "Storm Shadow" was very cool. There were some silly code names over the years for those folks, but that one stays cool.
I did actually read Rebirth #1 just to see what was going on. I actually liked seeing Wally West return and try to make people remember the lost years. But from what it sounds like, aside from his return, DC's being very slow and backing off from just resetting back to pre-Flashpoint. Very confusing.
Yes, there's now a whole rainbow of "Lanterns".
My interest in the superhero comics world had been waning as the '90s came to a close, probably for many reasons in my life, too. But once we got the well-discussed Identity Crisis and Infinite Crisis series I pretty much gave up. It was not only "grim and gritty" long after the concept had started, but it seemed like…
It's hard to pick just one, but I think since the 1980s ended, we lost the art of naming comedic characters, done so well in the films of Harold Ramis. 1980 brings us the names of Caddyshack: Ty Webb, Judge Smails, Lacey Underall and Carl Spackler. Then we have Ghostbusters, which suggests to me that Ramis may have…
Zapp Brannigan is not only a fun name, it somehow tell you everything you need to know about that character from the start.
It's all in the way you emphasize the two names. Dick WOLF sounds like a perfectly fine name. But DICK Wolf sounds like some awesome superhero.
I see the constant back-and-forth between a new continuity and going back to the old (it even happens in Marvel to some extent) is simply the creators, editors, etc, trying to get new readership by moving beyond the older, longtime adult readers. Then when that typically doesn't work out, they're forced to throw their…
I really cannot stand Fallon, but it's cool he had those kids on his show.
Hey, look! A man pretending to be a woman! That's hilarious. Right?
