Mostly.
Mostly.
Jon Lovitz's devil is just all kinds of awesome. The melodramatic speaking with the terrible costume? Beautiful.
Let's look at it another way. How many British sitcoms with a bunch of characters make them all deep down like a family? I'll bet there's more of that in the US. And I don't mean actual family sitcoms only. In the more typical sitcoms like Mary Tyler Moore, Cheers, Friends, etc, they go back to the theme that even the…
That's a pretty good description of The Kids in the Hall.
I did understand and appreciate the "these people are terrible" message that ended the series. As if to ask if people expected some bittersweet ending. But the real problem is, it's just not a very funny episode.
No wife was mentioned, at least in the movie his daughter appeared in. I have no idea about novels and such, but those are usually ignored by "real" Star Trek.
Especially the EVIL one. Because lesbians are just being bad.
Their very existence isn't necessarily sexist. Just the fashion of the day.
Those are some pretty big Nacelles.
Yeah, I assume many stories on books and comics show him with women, which is why I specified the filmed Trek world. Lots of those spin off books are often contradicted, anyway.
First adding a black woman and an Asian man to the Trek movies and now a gay guy? Great going, JJ.
Are we still doing "phrasing"?
Interesting that in the old movies Sulu is revealed to have a daughter and I don't think — at least in the movies only — they never specifically mentioned a wife. And in exclusively TV and movie stories, I don't think Sulu was shown in any kind of relationship. Not even a typical one-episode romance.
Oh boy, this is going to lead to some new nerd rage. Can't wait for the reaction to this one.
Those crazy ultra-liberal feminists! Always going on about "end child marriage".
Just imagine a character doing the opposite!
Many comedy monologues clash with that rule. Would George Costanza's marine biologist speech be inferior to an actual scene of the event?
Pretty classy banner photo.
Yeah, maybe not fair. Even logically, there wouldn't be enough time to react. I just found it weird after hearing people raving about the show all over the Internet to hear such a critical review.
My vote is "Drew's News"!
