SNL is obviously one of the most dated shows in history — and I don't mean that in a bad way — but are there any other opening titles that bring you right back to that time and place? That 1988 sequence reminds me of when I really starting watching the show in earnest. And that 1997 was a "hey, this show is pretty

Seeing how long both of them stuck around, I think it's safe to say that Kenan Thompson is this era's Tim Meadows. And the fact they are both black has nothing to do with it.

If I remember correctly, on the show it actually seemed like the drummer wasn't supposed to star at all. Carvey even laughed because of it.

That 2003 collage of images is so weird to me. It doesn't feel like those people all were on in that same era. But that's a constantly weird thing about SNL. Usually, there is overlap of cast members. A complete cast overhaul is rare.

It may be a terrible admission for artists, producers, writers, etc to hear, but when a show I never watched was canceled after one season, I never want to go back and watch it when a friend encourages me to. I know people who sing the praises of "Firefly," but I feel like if I watch it, I'll just get upset that the

The weirdest most absurd story I remember from Peanuts was when Snoopy got hurt playing hockey. For a whole week people were worried because he needed arthroscopic surgery on his knee. The storyline finally ended with the surgery getting cancelled when the doctor realized dogs don't have knees.

No, no. We all know no matter what he's done, Theon deserves to do the dick stomping.

Good point. They tried to make up for getting horses killed by getting some laid.

You can't prove he laughed.

Remember we also kind of put our presidency in the middle ground between royalty and regular politician.

Is it wrong that I don't want the president to ever be "cool"?

Enough, Seth. We only want you voicing cartoon characters. No one likes you on camera.

Both Clooney AND Roberts having fun together? We've reached Smug Level: Insufferable!

I try not to be a TV or comedy snob, but the popularity of this is just terrible. It seems to ensure that Corden will last. The guy is not very funny, seems kind of desperate, and somehow makes it seem painfully obvious that other people write all his stuff. He doesn't seem like much of a comedian. The other issue is

So, sounds like Dad was being nice and agreed to direct Junior's screenplay. Kind of heartwarming.

Ha ha, you called him "Meathead." That poor guy is gonna be called that until he dies. And probably long after.

The first sign that this would be bad should've been the moment someone said, "And then there's a kid Blues Brother!"

This sequel just really makes me sad. Sad that it turned out so boring, sad that Aykroyd lost a step (or many steps) but still likely wanted to make a good follow-up.

I hope the final scenes of Person of Interest bring us back to John and Finch. I like all of the growing cast of characters, but I still liked the days when those two were the stars. I hear we saw less of John because Caviezel wanted some relief from being in the entire episode every week.

I was really hoping we'd get one last season off of network television for Root and Shaw to properly explore their relationship.
