I don't know about the phoniness, I don't know about the nomination process or if money is involved with it. But, I did visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year, and thought it was a really great museum, no matter what anyone may think of the organization.

I don't think as many of those comments are some anti-Democrat insult by Republicans as people think. Some are just confused thinking, a Republican is a member of the Republican Party. So, it seems okay to say a Democrat is a member of the Democrat Party.

Since we're thinking pretty visually here, casting a character from, say, a novel, isn't quite the same. How you imagine a character from a book is more subjective, and is not quite as "crowd pleasing" an article.
